Wondering what kind of wedding poses to include in your album? Today you’ll find out! We’re teaming up with the crew at Bride Envy to share the best wedding poses every couple should include in their wedding album. You don’t want to miss this one! Make sure you add these photos to your wedding photo list. Take it away, Jarett!
Wedding Poses Every Album Needs
That album sitting on the bookshelf titled ‘When Two Became One – 1970’ (or something of the sort), that’s how your parents remember their wedding.
Through photos.
And so will you.
It’s important to think about what poses you want BEFORE your big day so that you can be prepared.
Because you only get one shot.
Here’s 7 wedding poses we think every album needs.
1. The Vignette
Want stunning wedding photos?
In our opinion nothing beats the vignette.
It is simple, and makes use of the beauty of nature. And it’s a photo that displays love perfectly. Because even with the vast expanses of our Earth, nothing matters more than you.
2. The Gang’s All Here!
Your best friends are going to be standing with you on your big day.
It’s only fit to get a picture showing their love and support for the start of your new journey!
You can go out of the box with this one (like the picture shown). No need for the traditional ‘everyone stand in a line with bridesmaids on the left and groomsmen on the right’.
Have some fun with it.
After all, these are your friends we’re talking about!
3. The First Dance
The goofier the better!
Your new spouse is challenging to a dance battle and you better not lose. Get crazy and have some fun. You can take a serious dance picture later when you’ve caught your breath from breaking it down on the dance floor.
4. The United Family
This is the picture everyone will reminisce over while they’re at your house for the summer barbecues.
How half of them met on that very night.
How much everyone has changed.
How ‘little and cute’ all the kids were.
This picture is synonymous with combining two families into one.
5. The Dip
Is it just me or is this the pose I remember most when thinking of wedding photos? You have to do the dip!
It’s equal parts elegant and romantic, and a must have for an amazing wedding album.
6. The ‘You’re My Forever’ Pose
Staring into each other’s eyes, thinking about your future together.
How this is just the beginning of a beautiful journey.
You’ll look back and still remember the butterflies in your stomach from taking this photo.
7. Just Married
And they’re off to start their life together!
Or at least vacation a little bit beforehand on their honeymoon.
Whether it’s in a vintage DeVille or a 2005 Kia Sportage, this is a very important picture.
It’s the last picture taken at the wedding, and should be taken to sum up why you all met up on that amazing night.
It’s Time To Fill Your Album With Beautiful Poses
Your photographer can help get those unplanned natural photos that look ultra-stunning. But remember to always plan the poses you absolutely have to have before your wedding day.
Because the best way to look back on your wedding is through photos, and we want you to have an album that is absolutely perfect.
