Some couples forget to do a few important things on their wedding day.
It happens! But we won’t let you miss a thing. ;)
These last-minute things are appreciated by vendors and your guests. Since we’ve already created the ultimate last-minute wedding checklist, we’re highlighting just three of the major things to NOT forget on your wedding day in today’s article.
Here are three of the most common things couples forget to do on their wedding day.
We don’t want you to forget anything on your wedding day, so make sure you save this for later (or write it down!)
Let’s get started!
3 Things Couples Forget on Their Wedding Day
1. Tip Your Vendors.
Some couples are forgetting to include tips for vendors in their overall budget. This cost can spill over and cause you unforeseen expenses.
Therefore, make sure you include gratuity in your budget ahead of time so you can properly tip your wedding vendors. They appreciate it — and count on it!

2. Include Vendors on Your Meal List.
When you give a final headcount to your caterer, be sure to include your vendors so they can eat, too. Include a space for them to eat at your wedding, too. Wedding pros work hard to ensure your day is as perfect as possible, and they get hungry! Make sure you give them a place to sit, rest, and enjoy a meal. It is a gesture they are sure to appreciate.
Bonus tip: make sure you ask for their entree selection before the wedding, so they can choose!

3. Have a Block of Rooms Set For Your Guests at the Hotel.
This is one of the important things to not forget for your wedding, particularly if you’re planning a destination wedding or a wedding weekend where many guests will travel. Arrange for a block of rooms set aside at a particular hotel (or hotels) so guests can take advantage of a discount and save some money. To set this up, just call a hotel of your choice and inquire about wedding blocks. They’ll take it from there!
