It’s easy to make a QR code wedding menu and we’ll show you exactly how it’s done! Plus, it’s practically free! Read on for the details + subscribe to the newsletter for FREE fun to your inbox, k?
It’s easy, it’s affordable, and it’s brilliant: a QR code wedding menu takes yours to the next level. Instead of printing menus or having one central menu at each table, maybe even creating a giant sign with your dinner options on it, do the next best thing. Make a QR code menu that will show wedding guests what’s for dinner!
I love this idea!
It’s easy to make your own. Today we’re showing you exactly how to make a wedding menu with a QR code that guests can scan with a Smartphone and it will bring up the menu on their own devices. This way, they know what’s for dinner and you have a little extra money in the budget for something else.
To get started, you’ll need three things: a wedding website (free, from here!), a QR code (also free, from here!), and a sign (cheap, from here!)
Let’s put it all together!
QR Code Menu for Wedding
1. First, get a wedding website.
You’ll need a wedding website for guests to be directed to, so now is the time to tackle a wedding website if you don’t have one already. You can get one for free here or opt for the premium option with more features.
All you’ll need to do for this particular project is create a tab or page entitled, “Menu”. Once it is published on your wedding website, proceed to step two.
2. Get your QR code.
Make a QR code from that particular website address. It’s easy to do at QR Code Generator: here’s the website. Type in the website address (specific page of the menu, please, as it makes it so much easier for guests to pull up!) and enter it into the page here.
It will create a unique QR code specifically for that website page. Download the QR code image to your computer or device. You’re going to need to use it for step 3.
NOTE: I highly recommend purchasing the premium version as you’ll be able to edit the link later on. This is very important.
3. Put your QR code on a menu sign for guests.
Lastly, you’re going to put that QR code on a menu sign like this. It’s affordable! Just get one, edit with your photo at the top and any extra wording you’d like, and upload the QR code to it. You can get the sign here. It is acrylic and stands up on its own, so you don’t even need to purchase a frame to put a sign inside!
Want something with a little more flash and pizazz? Sure thing! You can print this instead (customize the text to your liking, change the colors, whatev!) and put in a photo frame on a table.

Lastly, place your sign on an entry table of your wedding reception or near the buffet (if you’re planning a buffet style dinner).
Now a guest who wishes to know the menu can scan the QR code on his or her device and it will pull up the wedding menu digitally. Brilliant, I say!
Hope it helps!
