Today we’re featuring a beautiful and fun wedding by Carolyn from Carolyn Scott Photography based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Carolyn tells us,
“Dottie and Jon were an absolutely fabulous couple. They wanted a small, intimate ceremony and reception with a close 30 or so family and friends. Peace Church was chosen for its simple yet elegant charm. It’s a very small church but has a lot of natural light and a big, open feel about it.
Their ceremony was lit by candles and the remaining ambient light so it would be more romantic. Since the wedding was so intimate, Dottie & Jon had a lot of leeway in terms of schedules and times, so they were every photographer’s dream. :) We got to spend a lot of time alone after everyone left to head to the reception and take romantic and fun shots. I was able to pose them, then they would do or say something adorable to one another and start laughing…which made the photographs so cute and natural looking. They were a joy to work with!
The reception was a formal dinner at 1705 Prime and then several hours of cocktail conversation and dancing in a lounge-type room. It was perfect for a modern and small reception. The family and friends had so much fun that it was contagious!”
Enjoy the fun!

Great wedding photos! I love the shot of the shoes. Those ladies must be dancing!
