Recently, I spotted a viral social media post about Caraway cookware and I was intrigued. I wanted to find the best nonstick cookware set out there, but I was hesitant. These bright and colorful pots and pans not only look pretty, but they boast pretty amazing attributes: non-toxic, non-stick, ceramic. But I wondered, is Caraway cookware good… as good as it looks?
You see, my current pots and pans are starting to look pretty rough, and that’s an understatement. I’m talking a really oily, burnt-on battle and I was almost over making scrambled eggs, simply because of how much of it stuck to the pan afterward. I’ve spent good money on pots and pans that claim to be non-stick, only to eventually fail mere days into cooking and I just give up.
So, when I stumbled upon Caraway cookware and its amazing promises of non-toxic and non-stick capabilities, I sighed and thought, oooh, it’s just another non-stick pan that claims to work. But I’m glad I tried it out!
As the old saying goes, don’t knock it until you try it, right? So, I’m here to tell you what I really think about Caraway pots and pans. When I was asked to share my experience with a set of pots and pans from Caraway, I leapt at the chance because my kitchen cookware was going downhill, fast. But I wanted to know: is Caraway cookware worth it?
Today I’m sharing my experience with this popular and modern pots and pans set known as Caraway cookware. I’ll share my 100% honest review, as I always do when reviewing products, so you will know if Caraway pots and pans are good for you.
Is Caraway Cookware Worth It?
There’s a lot of hype about these pots, pans, and bakeware pieces. But let’s be honest: the way something looks is not as important as how it works, particularly when you’re talking about tools of the kitchen.
If cookware looks pretty but doesn’t actually work, it’s useless. Period. Thankfully, that was NOT the case with my Caraway pots and pans. I tried the saute pan first. It is the best non stick pan I’ve ever used. It only took me one use with these pots and pans and I was impressed! I’ve tried countless brands that claim to be non stick and this one ACTUALLY is and I’m a few weeks in (with heavy use).
What is Caraway cookware made of?
Caraway cookware is made with aluminum on the exterior and has a stainless steel base. It is made with naturally smooth ceramic. It has heavy handles, but isn’t too heavy to use; it features beautiful colors on the exterior that really stand out when displayed in your kitchen.
Can Caraway pans go in the oven?
You can use Caraway on the stovetop and actually, yes, Caraway pans can go in the oven, up to 550 degrees. This is great because I have a few cast iron pans that I love to use, but I’m getting so tired of cleaning them that I needed a replacement, and Caraway pans are worth it in that regard.
Is Caraway induction safe?
Yes: you can use your set on induction stovetops. You can use them on gas stovetops, electric, and the pots and pans.
Why are Caraway pots and pans expensive?
When you can get a cheap pot or pan set for $100, you’re probably wondering why Caraway cookware is expensive. It is normally $545 regularly, but I’ve seen it for sale many times on their website (like here for example) for $395 for a limited time. There is also a limited edition set which I have and it costs $745 (or $595 currently on sale here).
On the fance? Don’t be: there is a 30-day trial so you can try it out for yourself.
I see this question as two parts: you’re really paying for quality. You can buy cheap cookware, but it won’t last and likely it will contain materials that aren’t great for cooking.
With Caraway, you’re paying a bit more but you’re getting many benefits: it is well-made, is non-toxic, and is non-stick. I think those three attributes align well with the price point.
Is Caraway Really Non Toxic?
According to their website, Caraway cookware is made with, “naturally smooth ceramic, not synthetics like polytetrafluoroethylene (such as Teflon®)—an impossible to pronounce chemical that can leach toxic substances into your food and the air.”
What is so special about Caraway cookware? According to their website, Caraway cookware is free of PFAS: “Our products are free of PTFE (such as Teflon®), PFAs, lead, cadmium, nickel and other toxic metals.”
When you’re cooking food, it simply has to be non toxic.
Is Caraway Non Stick?
YES. I’ve never experienced a cookware set claiming to be non stick that actually held up to it after weeks and weeks of use. I didn’t want to tell you guys it was non stick if it didn’t prove itself to me, and let me tell you, I put it through the wringer on scrambled eggs, sticky rice, grilled cheese, bbq chicken, stir fry, and more. You you name it, it passed the test.
I can’t believe how much time I used to waste with old cookware trying to scrub, rinse, and get all that baked on food off of it.
In the past few weeks, I made more scrambled eggs than ever before and had no problem getting it off of the pan. This is easily the best nonstick cookware set 2022 and beyond! I was simply wasting so much time and throwing away food that got stuck on my old pans. What a waste!
Now with my Caraway pots and pans, I actually look forward to cooking because clean-up is a breeze. I simply use water and a bit of dish soap, a soft towel, and the food and grease wipes right off. It’s amazing, to be honest.
And I put my nice, easy-to-clean pots and pans back out on the stove because they look so beautiful! Who knew a ceramic cookware set could be so pretty?! :)

Are Caraway Pots and Pans Dishwasher Safe?
No. You can’t put it in the dishwasher, simply because the coating will wear away in the dishwasher over time. But hand washing these pots and pans is easy and unbelivably quick… so hand washing to me is no problem.
Remember, to keep your pots and pans looking their best, don’t use sharp or metal utensils when cooking with them. Only use wooden, plastic, or silicone utensils when cooking with Caraway pots and pans or you’ll risk ruining the coating.
Caraway vs Always Pan
For your best bet on Caraway vs Always pan, I’ve not tried that one yet so I’m not sure how it rates.
Caraway vs Greenlife
In my opinion, the winner of Caraway vs Greenlife is Caraway. I’ve tried a Greenlife pan before and I like Caraway better.
Do Caraway Pots and Pan Retain Heat Well?
Yes! I can’t believe how well these cookware pieces retain heat while I’m cooking. I was nervous when I noticed the entire handle is metal, thinking it would get too hot and burn me when I picked it up, but that’s not the case. It works well at keeping and retaining heat while you’re cooking and serving food
Where to Buy Caraway
I’m calling these the best cookware set for 2022. I haven’t tried any of the Caraway cookware dupe Amazon has to offer and now I won’t be looking. I’m set with my new favorite cookware brand for life. When I need to replace my set, I’ll get a new Caraway pots and pans set in another fun color.

In conclusion, are Caraway pots worth it? YES! I believe this is the best nonstick cookware set 2022 has to offer. So far, so good… I’ve had my set for weeks now with lots of use. I’ll update this review in the future if anything changes, as I always want to give you the most accurate review available.
As someone who used to loathe cooking simply due to the way my old pans made everything stick like crazy, this set of cookware from Caraway changed my mind and now I enjoy cooking and I don’t even mind clean-up! Ha! It’s amazingly easy to wipe it clean and start a new meal.
Caraway Home cookware is non toxic, non stick, and looks pretty in my kitchen. I can’t stop raving about it to my family and friends. This is a great set to add to your wedding registry or buy for yourself! I think you’re going to really enjoy cooking with it.
