Hi, lovelies! I’m a fan of macrame at weddings, so naturally, the idea of macrame nursery decorations is one I went crazy over, ever since I spotted this rainbow at HandmadeBebe.
Cute, isn’t it?
So I did some digging and a few more macrame nursery finds that stole my little handmade heart!
Before we get started…
What is macrame, you ask? Macramé is a type of artwork made with a knotting technique, which can be applied to many things including wall hangings, clothing, home decor, and so much more — like macrame plant hangers (this one is by Macramebeautiful):
I could use those myself; we have a ton of plant hooks in every room of our home (placed by previous owners) and I love that we have them, but I need to add plants! These would make it so easy and add a ton of boho style — one of my favorites. :)
I even like the idea of making my own macrame, or getting a macrame starter kit to learn how to do this beautiful art. Until then, I’ll just dream of all the loveliest ones!
I rounded up a list of my favorite nursery macrame decorations you can use in your baby’s room. These lightweight pieces are easy to display and are light and airy. I love the way they look; macrame decorations definitely infuse a calm, connected vibe in baby’s room.
And, since I’m mad for macrame, I’m also including a macrame baby swing (the cutest) and macrame teethers for your (universal) baby registry.
On to the list!
Nursery Macrame
1. Hanging rainbow macrame art
I love these so, so much. The colors are muted and soft, perfect for filling any open wall of the nursery.
2. Rainbow nursery macrame art
For a bolder style and larger design, this rainbow from KnotAboutItBoutique is a beautiful choice. I like how both rainbow styles are different and yet, both totally rock. I can’t choose a favorite.
3. Modern macrame nursery feather tapestry
I love this as baby nursery art and home decor! That’s the nice thing about macrame nursery decorations — they can grow with your child and continue to grace your home with style, even as they get bigger. By HomeStoriesStore.
4. Custom baby name wall macrame
This is one of my most beloved macrame finds: baby’s name, almost in a dreamcatcher-like design, made with macrame fringe. This is a beautiful art piece! By The Duo Studio.
5. Llama baby mobile with macrame
YOU HAD ME AT LLAMA! I love this mobile featuring sweet llamas/alpacas, darling cacti, and macrame feathers. By MiracleBabyDecor.
6. Soft pastel macrame wall hanging with rainbow
Oh, this rainbow macrame wall decoration is so sweet! By Fallincolors.
7. Boho macrame garland
While technically designed for your boho baby shower, this macrame garland can also be used as wall art in the nursery. By Macramano.
And while browsing this gorgeous shop, I also spotted this mini wall hanging.
8. Crescent moon and stars baby nursery macrame
This is such a lovely design for the nursery. It really makes you think about the night sky and falling stars… maybe your baby will sleep better! :) By UnfetteredCo.
9. Rainbow wall hanging with macrame
And last but not least, this is the wall hanging that inspired the post! I really like the choice of colors here. As you can see in this blog post, rainbow macrame nursery art is very popular right now. :) By HandmadeBebe.
OH! And since we’re talking macrame for baby, I couldn’t help but pass this one along: a macrame baby chair. How cute is this?! By SNHandicrafts.
And… this macrame baby teether! Ahh! I love this for a baby registry gift. By PoppyCottonKnots.
Also diggin’ this style by NothingOriginalCo. Who can decide, everything on this list is adorable!
So, what do you think of macrame? Is it your style? I love how it’s making a HUGE comeback in home decor and weddings. Tell me which one is your favorite in the comment box below!
Happy Mama-ing!
