Give props to a friend or family member who helped your “stars align”, so they say. ;) A friend of mine was introduced at a wedding to her now-husband, and she credits her aunt for bringing them together. Your fun facts napkin could read, “Austin and Taylor were introduced by Aunt Mary at a friend’s wedding”.
4. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
People love unusual hobbies or fun things you like to do that may not be very obvious. Things like “secret crossword puzzler” or “amazing Suduko solver, level expert” or “fantastic 300-game bowler” are just a few ideas. Do you never miss a Wordle? Are you a fast sprinter? Do you never miss an episode of The Bachelor? This is where you can indulge your guests: they love to read about things they may not know about you.
5. What bands, movies, or tv shows do you enjoy?
A couple I know love to travel around the country and attend Phish concerts. Something like, “They never miss a Phish concert within a 500-mile radius” is something fun to add or “Avery and Logan have watched The Office 20 times and counting”.
If you’re choosing something about a band or music, include a favorite track. “They never miss a concert for _____ band; “[SONG TITLE]” is a favorite tune.”
6. What is your passion or career? Is there a charity you’re involved in?
Tell guests what you do, or a cause you are devoted to supporting.
7. Include something about your future.
What’s to come? Are you planning to travel to Europe, have a fun honeymoon planned, or just moved into a new place? Tell guests what’s happening in the future!
8. Favorite Food/Drink
What is a favorite snack? A top meal you like to make? Which type of beverage do you enjoy? This makes a great fun fact for the napkin.
9. Do you have any pets?
Guests love to hear about your pets. Include a fun fact about your dog, silly antic about your cat, or unique story of how you became the owner of a wise-crackin’ parrot.
