Hello, loves! You’ve heard of emergency wedding kits in the past, but carrying around all that extra “stuff” can weigh heavily on your wedding bag. And, most wedding bags or clutches can only carry so much! Today, we’re cutting down on the clutter and sharing the seven things you absolutely must pack in your wedding bag. These carefully selected items are what we feel will keep you happy, pain-free, and embarrassment-free, too. We could always add more to the list – like mascara, and eye makeup remover – but we’re focusing more on things you’ll want to keep on hand. (Extras can always be kept in a large tote bag and stored in your bridal suite.) What would YOU pack in your wedding bag if you only had room for seven things? Here’s what made our list…
Happy Sunday-That-Feels-Like-Saturday-Because-of-Labor-Day-Weekend! Emma here and, I have to say, what’s better than a four-day weekend? Especially one that ends with the arrival of a brand new season, pumpkin flavored coffee, and the emergence of boot weather, not to mention cider mills and Halloween and all the fun that comes with it. Anyway, I wanted to pop in to share this gold leaf hair accessory we spotted over at Lottie-Da Designs. It is a beautiful hair piece for the fall wedding season and features delicate gold leafs for a bohemian inspired look. It’s perfect for a bride who wants to skip the veil… but can also be worn with one, too. This particular piece is named Augustina and it is available in different styles so you can create your own unique look. Read on to see the hair accessory and be sure to check out the hairstyle for inspiration, too. It’s gorgeous.

Are you a bride who wants to skip the veil? Then we’ve found a gorgeous veil alternative for you! We spotted this gorgeous lace bridal headpiece over at SIBO Designs and Sheila has outdone herself with this one. It’s designed to flow perfectly with the shape of your head and the little loops on the sides attach easily to your hair with bobby pins. This headpiece is handmade with Swarovski pearl beads, seed beads, and rhinestones. My favorite part? The sumptuous silk organza petals! This makes an exceptional veil alternative for the bride who wants to wear her hair down and incorporate elegance into her look.

Hi, lovelies! Did you have a nice weekend? I did SO MANY THINGS this weekend, list-cross-off kind of stuff. I finally put a small wall gallery up the stairs. I reorganized my home office. I did eight billion loads of laundry. I did many other things. I love weekends like this — it super-charges my week for sure. I hope you had a productive weekend, too (or relaxing — depending on what you really needed!) We’re kicking off the brand new week with a gorgeous hairstyle inspiration spotted over at Hair and Makeup By Steph (whom we adore). This curly hair down hairstyle features soft ringlets in the most elegant way. It doesn’t hurt that the bride has gorgeous hair, too. Take a peek!

Hi, loves! Emma here. Can I tell you a secret? I’m loving these wedding hairstyles, but I am secretly having trouble coming up with unique, totally-captures-the-look names for these styles. I mean, seriously, how many times can you say something is a pulled back updo and make it sound unique? Ah, well. Updos are pretty similar, you have to admit, but today’s sleek updo is one of our favorites for a traditional wedding. I love the way the bride’s hair is pulled away from her face, highlighting those earrings and that neckline! Oh, and that dress! It’s gorgeous. Take a look…

What do you think of this sleek updo? Will you be choosing it as your wedding day hairstyle?
Good morning, loves! It’s Day 15 in our wedding hairstyles series and today’s pick is a bride top knot! I love, love, love this style. I wear a top knot way too often (remember the this?), but it’s an effortless style that can be dressed up or down. I love how totally elegant it looks on this beautiful bride. If you’re wearing a top knot, I recommend going with a pair of really stunning earrings. Take a look…

What Is a Flower Hair Crown?
First things first: what is a flower hair crown? A hair crown, in this case with flowers, is a bohemian bridal veil alternative that can be worn by the bride on her wedding day. Instead of a traditional veil, a bride wears a hair crown usually with a more casual hairstyle. Here are a few examples of flower hair crowns we think you’ll love…
If you’re planning a woodland wedding, this is the crown for you.
2. Peach Rose
This next one – peach rose – is my personal favorite. I love the size of these paperie peach roses and the ivory pip berries. Lovely.
Planning an orchid-infused wedding? This hair crown is ideal and features tiny pip berries in ivory.
Wild child — this one’s for you!
5. Something Blue
Need something blue? This lily of the valley hair crown is the finishing touch.
Love daisies? Need a flower hair crown for your flower girl? This one is a summertime favorite.
7. Pearls + Roses
This is a new one: pearls are added instead of berries for a vintage-y look.
