Hello, loves! You’ve heard of emergency wedding kits in the past, but carrying around all that extra “stuff” can weigh heavily on your wedding bag. And, most wedding bags or clutches can only carry so much! Today, we’re cutting down on the clutter and sharing the seven things you must pack in your wedding bag at the very least. These carefully selected items are what we feel will keep you happy, pain-free, and embarrassment-free, too. We could always add more to the list – like mascara, and eye makeup remover – but we’re focusing more on things you’ll want to keep on hand. Happy Friday, everyone! So, I (Emma here!) need to try a new hairstyle every few months or so to mix things up. Over the last few months, I’ve been gaga for top knots, hair buns, DIY Hair Bows – even curly top knot turned side chignons (my favorite). Today, I’m here to talk about my latest hair obsession: the fishtail braid. This sweet, boho-inspired hairstyle has been gaining popularity and I see it sticking as a popular hairstyle in 2013. Whether you’re a bride-to-be looking for a perfect wedding day hairstyle or you’re like me and hoping to score a new favorite DIY ‘do, you’ll love today’s feature. Instead of keeping my own DIY fishtail braid research to myself (which is no fun for anyone), I’m sharing my favorite DIY fishtail braid finds with you today. I (Emma here!) have been swearing by this no-fuss hairstyle for years (albeit, mine a bit messier) and now I know: a) what to call it, and b) how to get the perfect top knot. Braided Hairstyles / Wedding Hairstyle Round-Up

Here’s a wedding trend we’re following – and loving – at the moment: braided hairstyles! Last week, we shared with you a beautiful fishtail braid (with a fishtail braid video tutorial) and we received some lovely feedback from you, our readers. So, we’ve decided to up the ante a bit. Instead of one braided style, how about twenty braided hairstyles? We had SO much fun pulling this post together. I admittedly tried out a few (or seven?) hairstyles myself now that my hair is long enough. Trying to braid again after years was weird at first, but then it all came back to me just like riding a bike. :) I’m happy braids are making their way into the wedding world – I love their simple, chic sophistication – but I’m not convinced they ever truly went out of style. I think braids are always stylish!
