Chair Ribbons for Weddings

Move over, chair sash – there’s a new decoration dominating the wedding scene! Chair ribbons – a favorite of ours here at Emmaline Bride – are becoming a popular wedding decor option. We think it’s because they are easy-to-DIY, add instant whimsy AND incorporate punchy pops of color. Use chair ribbons for weddings, engagement parties, bridal showers, birthday parties… anything, really! It’s easy to do and requires plenty of ribbon, scissors, and a little prep time. Simply add similar shades of ribbon to the backs of chairs by tying them onto the top rung. Add a few different types of ribbon fabric to add an added element of texture. If you’re short on time (and, perhaps ribbon) use the chair ribbons for the head table or exclusively for the bride and groom chairs. I love this idea so much – now if only we could decorate all the chairs in the office this way… hmmmm….
