A Gorgeous St. Louis Wedding: Rachael + Pawe at the Marriot Renaissance Grand, Saint Louis - http://emmalinebride.com/real-weddings/a-gorgeous-st-louis-wedding-rachael-pawel/ | Missouri wedding photographer - Heather Roth Fine Art Photography

Today we’re bringing you this gorgeous St. Louis wedding captured by Heather Roth Fine Art Photography. The couple Rachael and Pawel were married at the Renaissance Grand Hotel. Their wedding has some truly beautiful details that you’re sure to like including their lovely flowery invitations, floral headpiece, and Rachael’s shoes. Rachael tell us, “When planning our wedding day we had two priorities – A meaningful ceremony that incorporated our families and a relaxed reception with good food and plenty of drinks. My favorite detail was my fun shoes from Irregular Choice! They were wedges so they were pretty easy to walk in and was a simple way to put a little personality into my look. My most time consuming project was putting together the wedding programs, but I knew I would rather spend more of our budget on catering than something that pretty much everyone would throw out before the day was up…

10 Most Emotional Wedding Photos

Editor’s Note – 5.8.16: Hi, loves + Happy Mother’s Day! We published this post awhile back but thought it would be a great fit for today. Wait until you see the photos with the mother of the bride, especially #4 — it’s one of my favorites! We wish all moms a wonderful Mother’s Day!

Today, we’re talking about emotional wedding photos: those real, tear-jerking candid moments captured on film. While planning your wedding, one thing remains certain: your day will be packed full of emotionally-charged, fleeting moments in time. Today, we want you to take a moment to put down the peonies, step away from the mason jars, and put all your stress on hold. Remind yourself why you’re getting married in the first place: love.

My wedding was seven years ago, but I remember the details like it was yesterday. My sister woke me up early that morning with a super enthusiastic, “Happy Wedding Day, Bride! Wake up… the big day is here!” (Seriously, best MOH in the history of ever.) I remember my mom and sister helping me get ready, putting on my veil (my mom’s, worn on her own wedding day), and peeking through windows in anticipation as family and friends gathered. I remember my dad seeing me in my gown for the first time, our father-daughter chat before Canon in D began, and seeing my groom at the end of the aisle once the doors opened. Pure magic. These significant moments made my wedding day extra special, and your moments will be unique, too. Make sure you take time out to enjoy them. (Also, make sure your photographer is ready to capture those candid shots – I’m glad ours did!) Today, we’ve gathered up ten of the most emotional wedding photos. We hope it helps you create your own list of must-have wedding photos and remind you of what’s truly important. So, without further adieu, let’s begin…

Today we’re bringing you Morgan and Nick’s beautiful downtown Kansas City wedding. Their wedding last May has lots of gorgeous photographs you’ll really enjoy. Some of the couple’s details include brilliant springtime flowers in purple, pink, and white; modern typography; amazing lighting above their reception tables; peony bouquets; vintage china; and more. Their wedding ceremony programs were both modern and bold. They also had personalized wedding koozies with their date and initials. Very cool! These always make for a great favor because they keep your guests drinks cold (especially helpful during hot summer months). Other fun details include Nick’s Oklahoma State dress socks and pet photo booth props. Now it’s time to see all the amazing photographs captured by Darbi G. Photography

A Georgian Bay Engagement Session: Julianne + Dan

Georgian Bay Engagement Session | Toronto Wedding Photographer - Photography by Calin

Happy Wednesday! We’re excited to bring you Julianne and Dan’s Georgian Bay engagement session. Their recent e-session was captured by Toronto wedding photographer, Photography by Calin. Calin tells us, “This was one of the most fun engagement photo shoots I have done. The couple invited me to do their engagement at their cottage in Georgian Bay, located two hours from Toronto. I always suggest my couples to treat the shoot like a date where I just happen to be around and take photos. That make couples less camera aware and allows me to photograph more photo journalistic photos. After we arrived in Georgian Bay, we had lunch and walked by the docks, spent time downtown and headed to the cottage to enjoy a splendid Georgian Bay sunset. The champagne started flowing, which made for some fun shots.” See the photos in 3…2…1!

Katie and Ben’s Boulder Colorado mountain engagement session was awe-inspiring! Today’s featured couple met up with photographer Emmy, from Searching for the Light Photography, to take these amazing photographs. Emmy tells us, “We originally planned to go to Boulder and hike near the flatirons but the sun creeps behind the canyon so early in the day we had to find another spot. Thankfully I had two in mind because as I was driving to the first location, the second had its gates closed, literally. But man did we definitely not need two locations because this Colorado mountain was so gorgeous!” See the photo and hear from the bride…
