Today we’re sharing with you this fun Austin engagement session! The bride-to-be, Priscilla, tells us Austin, Texas is one of their favorite cities. It was also the first place in Texas she took her fiancé, who is originally from West Virginia. Although they are getting married in her hometown of El Paso, she says, “Austin has so much life and amazing backdrops! We knew it was the perfect place for some photos that show so much love.” Check out all the amazing photos captured by Adrianne Riley Photography below…
Today we’re bringing you this beautiful spring wedding in Italy. Meet Andre and Shona! Their recent Italian wedding was celebrated in the town of Treviso. Jayne from Venice Events coordinated their wedding and tells us, “The town is traversed by several branches of the Sile and Cagnan rivers and many of its narrow streets are lined with arcades and older houses overhang, with faded frescoes. There are numerous fountains, statues and water mills.” See all the photos and find out more about their spring wedding in Italy…

“Leaving from their quaint Bed and Breakfast, the couple made their way through the local market, to arrive at Palazzo Rinaldi, a beautiful palace where their ceremony was celebrated in a room full of colorful medieval frescoes.”
“The wedding group then went to a nearby historic Osteria to enjoy Prosecco (and plenty flowed) and finger food. After a short break, they returned for a country rustic meal, a typical menu from Treviso finished off by a delicious creamy Italian wedding cake.”
“As animal lovers, the couple enjoyed having photographs with the locals and their dogs!”
What does a hipster engagement session look like? Imagine a hip couple, picnic blanket, guitar, record player, and a throwback style that ties it all together. This styled shoot photographed by Sandra from White Ivory Photography has it all. Sandra tells us, “A bucket list of love, a romantic dinner with heart shaped grilled cheese and plenty unique details create this Willamette Valley styled proposal shoot with some hipster flare. This concept shoot was styled by A Vintage Soiree out of McMinnville, Oregon. The daring duo of A Vintage Soiree did not forget a single element. I love all the textures and retro details they used to make this hipster shoot indelible. The best part of it all was working with everyone including our models. We had an amazing venue at the Bayou Golf Course and Mansion in McMinnville.”
Have you dreamed of a destination wedding in Italy? If so, you’ll love today’s Real Wedding feature! One of our preferred Bridal Book vendors is Venice Events, a wedding planning team that is an expert in the area. They recently coordinated Tricia and Mark’s Real Wedding in Italy and today we’re showing a few shots from their ceremony and reception by photographer Adrian Wood.
Tricia and Mark’s wedding was held at Bauer Palladio on Giudecca Island, which is located in the Venice lagoon in Italy. A few raindrops made their way into the ceremony, but it didn’t stop the couple (and their guests) from having a perfect day from start to finish. The couple chose a religious ceremony outdoors celebrated by a priest, who, according to the wedding planner, was a wonderful celebrant and made guests laugh. The wedding reception lasted from sunset into the wee hours of the night, with an elegant dinner, dancing, and a jazz group thoroughly enjoyed by guests. And, during the ceremony, a white rabbit hopped into the area which was quite unusual to see. We looked it up and apparently a white rabbit is a sign of good luck, so we think that’s pretty wonderful to see for the happy couple. We wish Tricia and Mark a wonderful marriage together! Enjoy a sneak peek into their Real Wedding in Italy, below.

Kendall and Brian’s Colorado Chic wedding was absolutely beautiful! They were married last August in a Denver Catholic Church and had their reception at the Chatfield Botanical Gardens. Kendall choose her birthstone, emerald, as their wedding color. It looked fantastic! Their photos were captured by Emmy from Searching for the Light Photography. You’ll see from the lovely photos and their amazing story why this Colorado Chic wedding is one of our favorites…
Colorado Chic Wedding
Emmy tells us, “Kendall and Brian’s wedding wasn’t focused on the extreme attention to detail but rather their purity in devotion to each other in their unique relationship founded in faith. While Kendall did spend countless hours carving holes into logs for her decorations, and they had a co-worker design a logo for their wedding, they didn’t want the focus to be on any objects beauty but rather on the beauty of God in their union together and their family and friends joining around them on this day.”
Why did you choose to get married where you did? The bride tells us, “We met at our first ‘big kid’ job after college at a marketing agency in Lower Downtown, Denver. Often, we would attend daily mass at Holy Ghost which sparked a conversion experience for Kendall and led her to come back to the Catholic Church after many years of being active in a non-denominational faith community. Even though we now both belong to Saint Thomas More (STM) Catholic Parish we knew that we wanted to get married where it all started, at Holy Ghost. The night we got engaged we both envisioned a barn at our reception. Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield Prairie Canopy felt like the perfect place for us to throw a party. Chatfield is both lovely, open, rustic, relaxed and captured the beauty of our state. The dance floor beneath a very old and large lit tree was very romantic.”
Why was your wedding unique? “We have been blessed with an awesome community of Catholics, Protestants and non-believers. All of these people have impacted our lives and have helped shape our beliefs. It was important to us that all people who attended our ceremony feel loved and an important part of our sacrament of marriage. We spent a lot of time praying for the mass and all that would attend as well as discussing with Father John Paul ways in which we can make everyone feel comfortable. We felt God really blessed this desire and the holy spirit move hearts. We wanted our reception to be a relaxed and fun event that was also ‘Colorado chic’. We wanted everyone to get a taste of Colorado (literally with all Colorado brewed beers and BBQ), loosen their ties, dance, laugh, play some corn toss and enjoy the 5280 sunshine.”
Where did you find your inspiration? “We found a lot of inspiration in the things that we both already love and do. We spend a lot of time together hanging out with friends and family, attending mass, volunteering with the STM youth, BBQing, and playing corn toss. We also found inspiration in the jewel tone, emerald, which is Kendall’s birthstone and was our main wedding color as it is timeless, romantic and beautiful. The life, faith and love story of Kendall’s grandparents (Don and Marie) inspired both our wedding and our relationship. Kendall was lucky enough to receive and adorn her bouquet with a rosary made from Marie’s wedding bouquet as well wear a very special set of sapphire and diamond rings that also belongs to Marie (something borrowed and blue). Our very talented and dear friend, Olivia Nass, was our creative mastermind. In addition to designing our website, invitations, programs and save the dates she created a logo that helped inspire a lot of our wedding. The B&K is joined together by a birds wings that created a “V” for Vogel (Vogel means bird in German).”
This Crystal Tea Room wedding in Philadelphia was magnificent! Daniel and Veronica were married this past January at a venue named the Crystal Tea Room in downtown Philadelphia. Daniel from Daniel Fugaciu Photography captured their wedding and tells us all about the details. Daniel says, “As opposed to their awesome engagement session last fall, Daniel and Veronica’s wedding day was a rather chilly one, to say the least. They got ready at Lowes hotel in center city Philadelphia, and when we were all ready to rock, we had their first look on the 33rd floor of the hotel with superb views of the City of Brotherly Love…”

“We walked to the beautiful Crystal Tea Room which was minutes away and had our share of cold for the day already. The intricate architecture of Wanamaker building made for great photos with the love birds and the bridal party later. I can already say Finley Catering won me over and it’s only the second time I’m photographing in their knockout venue.”
“After delicious cocktail hour EBE’s Milan 77 delighted us with their great music and the party was on! Don’t believe me? Use your little mouse and scroll down, slowly.”
We’re loving Alexandra and Devin’s breathtaking Connecticut waterfront wedding. Their wedding was photographed by Melani from Melani Lust Photography. Melani tells us, “This enchanting home garden was transformed into a lush scene reminiscent of a Jane Austen novel, where moving nuptials were exchanged and the party continued in the Greenwich Harbor at the Delamar Hotel’s L’Escale Restaurant. Soft pastel flowers intertwined with ripe fruits and bridesmaids dresses in varying hues of muted rose reflected the soft yellow sunset outdoors. As guests enjoyed sparklers, the stars of the night sky took flight.”
