Engagement Shoot: Colorado Foothills

Today we’re featuring a Colorado engagement session with wedding photographer extraordinaire Kristy from Moodeous Photography.

Kristy tells us,

“Here is a fun recent engagement session I did here in Colorado with some really adventurous clients.

Location: Matthews Winters Park, Morrison Colorado
Date: 5/17/10

Ashley and Aaron will be married this August in Denver Colorado. Since Ashley’s Dad is very handy with a camera and had provided them with lovely engagement photos downtown Ashley and Aaron were looking for something a little unusual and different. When Ashley suggested the couple dress pretty formally, but be photographed in a location that really juxtaposed that formality I was thrilled! After scoping out some locations in the Colorado foothills I found the perfect park nearby the famous Red Rock Amphitheatre and began planning and styling the shoot. The kite, chair and flowers were all elements that I integrated to give the shoot a lively feel and reflected the couples easy laughter and free spirits. The final product is a series of vibrant, stylized images that I could not have created without the trust and creativity of Ashley and Aaron.”
