If you’re opting for no place cards at your reception, these clever table cloths tell guests to select a seat. This works best for intimate ceremonies or brunches (but we still recommend leaving a reserved table for the bride and groom, and another for parents). Spotted here via Grey Likes Weddings.

I LOVE that! Great idea for a more casual wedding!
Absolutely. A brunch, too!

I think, it is better to provide a seat for each of the guest so that you can arrange them accordingly. But make sure that the name itself can be easily seen so that it won’t be hard in their part to look for it. On the other hand, this is a good idea as well, At least they can find a comfortable seat.
Hi Ann,
It is easier for some circumstances (which is why I had to include the table for the bride, groom, and another for the parents). I think it is important to honor the parents by giving them a special seat. However, for a brunch or more informal event, I like how it’s a no-fuss idea, especially for the bride who wants no place cards at all. At least it makes it easy on guests to know they may sit anywhere they wish!
Thanks for the comment :)
