Hello, loves + Happy Wednesday! Today, we’re sharing bridesmaid dress inspiration with some killer styles they’ll actually love to wear. Despite what you’re lead to believe, bridesmaid dresses don’t have to be horrible. In fact, it’s rare we find a bride that will dress her girls in anything less than gorgeous. With so many unique bridesmaid dresses (+ accessories) from which to choose, today’s bridesmaids are anything but boring. We’ve rounded up 7 of our favorite unique bridesmaid dresses to inspire you + help you plan your bridal party look (while staying within their good graces). So, let’s begin, shall we? We’re kicking off the list with a palette of mismatched neutrals…

7 Unique Bridesmaid Dresses

1. Neutral Mismatched Bridesmaid Dresses

This bridesmaid dress style is mismatched, while still looking pulled together. Each dress is within a neutral color palette, while the style of each dress varies completely. We like this style because it gives each bridesmaid the freedom to share her personal style, while staying within a netural palette. (Plus, neutrals are so easy to wear again… double points.)

2. Blue Bridesmaid Dresses

The selected color – light blue – gives bridesmaids the option of dress style, while staying within a particular soft shade.

3. Colorful Bridesmaid Dresses

These unique bridesmaid dresses offer pops of vibrant color, which works especially well when you have several bridesmaids. In this example, bright yellows, pinks, and blue are brimming with brilliance, yet again each style is unique.

4. The Non-Bridesmaid Dress

These bridesmaids look the part when together, but individually don’t look like ‘bridesmaids’ at all. Not only do these soft shades complement each other perfectly, but each unique dress can be re-worn over and over again.

5. Same Color, Different Style

These unique bridesmaid dresses (oh, and those ruffles? gorgeous.) offer the same color, with the exception of the Maid of Honor who dons a slightly darker hue. The styles vary slightly, as well.

6. Long + Flowy

Long and flowy dresses embody elegant style, and this particular example is incredibly gorgeous.

7. Bold Prints + Patterns

For this beachy wedding, the bride selected unique bridesmaid dresses with a shorter style – and completely different patterns and prints! Yet, it works!

So, what do you think?

Which of these unique bridesmaid dresses do you love? Which dresses could you leave altogether? Or, what style dress will your bridesmaids be wearing?

What a treasure trove of useful information you have here. I just wanted to let you know we featured your mason jar centerpiece idea on our post on weddings today. Thanks a lot.

I can’t decide if I like #1, #2, or #3 the best. Probably the neutrals of #1, mostly because the bridesmaid dresses I chose for my maids were a neutral, champagne color.

I love #2. Our colors are Carolina Blue and Canary Yellow and I want my bridesmaids to be mismatched buy coordinated also. Does anyone know where these dresses came from???

Looking at “long and flowy,” the style my sister in law (the bride) was looking for. Do you know what designer and if it comes in a light blue?

I am loving #1 and #2 :) if I could do it all over again!

    Thanks so much!

Emma@EmmalineBride do you know where I could find the dusky purple tiered bridesmaid dress in the neutral mismatched photo?! I love it!

    Amy,

I wish I could! However, the bridesmaid dresses were hand-picked by each bridesmaid individually. The best bet would be to use this dress as a template and search for tiered dresses – possibly custom ones – in that particular shade. I wish I knew the designer! That dress is gorgeous.

Do you know who makes the long and flowy dresses?

    Erica,

The long flowy dresses are by Saja. You can view the collection here. :)
