What are printable wedding invitations?

First and foremost, let’s talk about what printable wedding invitations are. As its name suggests, printable wedding invitations are invites that are designed for you. Instead of being sent to you via mail, a printable file is delivered to you via email or through a digital download link.

When are printable wedding invitations a better choice?

Printable wedding invitations are useful when the couple wants to…

o make do-it-yourself invitations (with help from a professional)
o have invitations printed and in-hand in a shorter amount of time
o choose the style card stock onto which the invitations will be printed
o use a particular printer / print shop

Are printable wedding invitations better in quality than traditional printed invites?

It depends. If you choose a reputable printer AND you choose a beautiful paper, your printable wedding invitations can look just as stunning as professionally printed wedding invitations.

How do I print out my invitations? I’m terrible with printing.

You needn’t be a printing expert to use printable wedding invitations. All you need to do is head to your favorite local printer with your design file. You can download the design file to a flash drive and take to a small print shop or a place like Kinkos. They have experts who are happy to help with your custom print job. Let them know the design is for your wedding invitations, let them know what you have in mind for paper type and color, and ask them for any advice they may have.
