BEST WEDDING LAWN GAMES
1. Jumbo Yard Dice
This jumbo yard dice is a hit for guests of all ages. The little kids will want to toss them just because they’re fun, while the more advanced players will try their hand at Yahtzee (aka Yardzee) or Farkle. By Father In Saw.

2. Giant Tic Tac Toe Lawn Game
3. Giant Connect Four Lawn Game
The classic Connect Four / four-in-a-row game just got a huge upgrade. I think this is one of my top three in our best wedding lawn games list, simply because it looks like so much fun. I’ve seen one of these set up at a lobby recently and people couldn’t stop playing! By Yard Games. Buy yours here.

4. Giant Word Game
This giant letter / word game from Jack and Jill’s is the larger-than-life version of Scrabble or Words With Friends. You can lay these out in a separate area of your reception on the floor, or out on the lawn for guests to make their own word boards. The set comes with 144 wooden tiles (each approximately 5″x5″), a carrying bag, laminated instruction card, and scorecard. Buy yours here.
5. Giant Dominoes
Who knew dominoes could be even more fun than they already are? I want to set them up and knock ’em all over! Or, you know, play the game according to the actual rules. Either way, check out how gigantic these are! By Jack and Jill’s. Buy yours here.
6. Cards Against… (Insert Your Favorite Here)
I’ve played Cards Against Humanity at a friend’s cabin up north when it first came out. That game is NUTS. Like, you really only want to play with a select type of group of friends. It’s incredibly awkward and you really need a sense of humor. The original version — called Cards Against Humanity — is available here. Caution: it is not exactly wedding appropriate, just sayin’. I did find this alternate version — Cards Against Profanity — which looks fun and has high ratings. It is the game for people who love Cards Against Humanity, but want to play with grandma. So it’s safe, fun, and better for playing with a group of people who might not be so bold and outrageous.

And you’re going to love this: Cards Against Potter is another appropriate choice, especially if you are having a Harry Potter Themed Wedding (that’s a thing, you guys!) or you just really, really want to beat the muggles at this incredibly fun and fast-paced game. Word to the wise: make sure you get the Cards Against Potter 1st Year Edition. It’s the clean, family-friendly one, more suitable for weddings. The other one is very adult-oriented. Here’s an example and it’s by DIYCAH. Buy yours here.
7. Giant Lawn Jenga
This set is SO HUGE, it’s rated for ages 12+. And that’s important to note because the wood is very heavy, especially when it topples over. It comes with a carrying bag and it also has FREE Prime shipping — get it in 2 days, just in time for Labor Day weekend! Booyah. Buy yours here. (P.S. If you don’t have Prime, WYD? Get it here. You can even try it free for 30 days!)
If you have wedding guests under the age of 12 playing (or you don’t mind waiting a little longer for shipping, or you prefer a handmade product), check out this oversized tower from The Dutch Goldfinch. It’s only $50, cheaper than the Jumbo set above, and it is suitable for guests of ALL ages (because it’s slightly smaller, but still big enough to be fun). Buy yours here.
8. Lawn Chutes / Skee Ball Game
Grab a tennis ball and toss it in! This lawn chutes / skee ball game from The Underground Shop is a lot of fun and easy to play for guests of all ages. It doesn’t take up too much room, either. Buy yours here.

This is another of my top three in the best wedding lawn games list: bocce ball! This set comes with a carrying case and uses regulation size balls, which is very important for serious bocce players. By Trademark Games. You can buy yours here (and again with the free 2-day Prime shipping!)

Okay, this one looks crazy — but I can’t imagine a kid at your wedding who wouldn’t have a giant smile on his or her face while playing this game! 15. Electronic Catchphrase
This one’s a little different: it is easy-to-play and everyone can be sitting down, so it’s great at reception tables or around the bar. The game is portable, so there’s no cards or anything to set up. The goal is to try to get your team to say a word shown on the screen (without actually saying the word). It even keeps score for you! I have this one at home and it’s always a party favorite. By Hasbro. Buy yours here.

18. Wedding Guest Mad Libs
Here’s another game guests will have fun with at their tables — and you get to read the hilarious response afterwards. Guests fill in the appropriate blanks (noun, verb, adjective, etc.) without reading the entire card. Then, afterward, they have a really funny fill-in card with wedding advice for the couple. Have guests place their completed “guest libs” in a basket or box and compile them in a book as a guest book alternative. By Weddings By Jamie. Buy yours here.
19. Leave a Note
And here’s a modern version of wedding mad libs, with some seriously sweet and honest answers, aka “I traveled all the way here in a freakin’ _____ for ______ (the truth will set you free). Ha! By Black Lab Studio.
20. The Kissing Game
Some couples don’t want to kiss just because someone clanks their glass with a fork or knife, so here’s an alternative! With a kissing menu, you’re really gonna make those guests work for that kiss. By P27 Creative.

22. Giant Chess
23. Ladder Ball
Also known as ladder golf, this game is one of my favorites. Toss the golf balls-on-a-string and try to get them to land on the rungs of the ladder. A crowd-pleaser anywhere you go! Comes with carrying case and official rules, so you know how to play and keep score. By LadderGolf. Buy yours here.
