Should you wear a wedding dress sash? We’re sharing three tips today to help you decide! Read on to find out more…
Should I Wear a Sash?
1. Less Is More.
You don’t need to have a wedding veil, earrings, necklace, bracelet, AND a sash. Too many accessories can distract from your look. Pick no more than two or three favorite accessories to add pizazz to your look.
2. Pick the right sash for your body type.
Make sure your belt looks best with your body type. For instance, thin belts are best for short torsos, while wider belts work well with longer torsos. Beaded or embellished belts flatter any waistline. A v-shape applique will work best with a petite style, as it will elongate your look.
3. Don’t pick a too-wide style.
A dress sash looks best when it is no more than three-inches wide, as anything larger tends to overpower your gown.
Hope it helps!
