Hi, lovelies! Emma here. Question: what’s more fun than yummy cheesecake? Cheesecake in a jar, of course! It’s clear that we have a bit of an obsession with anything in a mason jar these days (like cookies, cherry pie, smores, rainbow cake, & ice cream for treats, these and these for home!) and cheesecake is no exception. The best part of cheesecake — other than how insanely satisfying it is — has to be the fruit pairing that go along with it. Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries… you name it, I love it. And with summer in full swing, cheesecake parfaits are one of my go-to snacks.
Cheesecake in a Jar Favors
When I spotted these cheesecake in a jar favors, I had to try them out myself. Small scale, really, but the recipe from here was so easy to follow and I knew you’d love them, too.
The fact they were delicious, along with the other fact they’re in a jar, I knew they’d be a hit for summer wedding favors. Cheesecake in a jar favors have to be one of the greatest pairings of all time. Crumbly sweet graham cracker crust, delicious cheesecake filling, topped with strawberries or blueberries and sealed up in a jar and popped in the fridge, all ready to be enjoyed.
Cheesecake in a jar makes an absolutely perfect wedding or bridal shower favor. If giving to guests in the hot summer heat, keep them chilled in a cooler or make sure they’re refrigerated before giving them away to guests. Another fun idea would be to buy a ton of these and set up a cheesecake-in-a-jar bar. Have plenty of fresh fruit and granola pairings for guests to choose their own toppings; they can fill up their own take-home jar for a tasty treat to go. YUM!
If you’d like, make your own cheesecake favors ahead of time to give away to guests. Just make sure you keep them refrigerated right before they are set out for guests to take. You’ll want to put them in jars like this with the wide mouth or these pint sized jars. Don’t forget the cute “thank you” mason jar labels like these.
