Well, while browsing we had an email come in from Tessa who is getting married in August. She is looking for a white lace dress to wear to her bridal shower — “something short, cute, inexpensive — under $50 would be incredible”, she writes.

On my quest to find her the perfect bridal shower dress… lo and behold, I found IT. But not just “it”, I found THE dress that many of you will love to wear as a wedding guest dress this summer. Myself included!

This wedding guest dress is by MEROKEETY. Sometimes, the brands on Amazon seem a bit… I don’t know, sketchy? It’s usually because they are names you’ve never heard of before, so thank goodness for reviews. And according to the listing, this is a “registered USA brand” and they “accept 30 day returns/refunds”. Check, and check.

Anyways, here’s the guest wedding dress under $50 I’m raving about (and so are a few thousand others, apparently) shown here.

Here’s why it rocks.

1. This wedding guest dress is form-fitting and figure-flattering.

That’s a lot of F’s, to which I say it is fantastic. You usually don’t hear form-fitting AND figure-flattering in the same review.

One reviewer mentions that this guest dress “fits a mom bod” and “has some give to it”. (Amen!) Someone else points out that it is “lovely” but to be cautious when you bend over as it might ride up a bit in the back. This is good to know when you’re, ya know 5’10” like me.

2. It has a great neckline.

Raise your hand if you love a fun neckline! This boat neckline in lace adds some fun to the look. It also means you can skip the necklace.

Note: for other length sleeves, which we’ll talk about in a min, the dress has a crew neck and a sweet “swoop” in the back with zipper closure.

3. This is a wedding guest dress that is knee-length.

How many times have I ordered a wedding guest dress on Amazon, only to find out it fits more like a freaking t-shirt? I love the length on this dress!

4. This dress has THREE sleeve options.

Going to a wedding in warm weather? Pick the sleeveless version. Attending a cooler wedding in the fall? Opt for the half-length lace sleeve option. Not sure which way to go? There’s an in-between cap sleeve option with a little fringe that I’m really loving right now.

Is there anything more to love than that alone? And it’s a dress you can wear again! Wedding guest dresses can get pretty expensive. Add in the other things you are required as a guest — travel? I love the reviews on this dress: they’re totally honest and answer exactly what you are wondering. Someone states how it’s very flattering and isn’t too baggy or too tight. Someone else mentions the length is versatile. Another reviewer said the fabric is “phenomenal” especially for the price.
