Today, we’re showing you how to dress up your wedding drinks from drab to fab in seconds flat with a little help by Pink Cherry Mama, featured artisan in The Marketplace. Roberta, shop owner and designer, offers a lovely collection of striped straws, drink tags, and colorful ribbons to greet your guests upon arrival at your reception. We love the idea of tying her brilliant handmade “drink me” tags (reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland) to the tops of glass soda bottles for a soda bar at your reception. Or, placing striped straws in mason jars filled with a signature cocktail or freshly squeezed lemonade. Read on to see a few of our favorite hand-picked striped straws:
Striped Straws for Wedding Drinks
These decorative striped straws coined Carnival Straws in Pink Cherry Mama‘s shop, are all natural and made with paper which is better for the environment than plastic, are fully compostable and biodegradable. If you’re planning to serve up drinks in mason jars, we recommend these striped straws. Mason jars look great and give that country-chic homespun charm, but many guests may not care for drinking directly out of jars (myself included). The straws will give you the look you love while also pleasing your guests.
We love them! There are TONS of beautiful striped straws (and polka dot straws like the pink one shown above), tags, stirrers, and more at Pink Cherry Mama. Tell ’em Emmaline Bride sent you!
Happy Planning Sipping!

A great DIY idea. I especially love the green ones. :)
This is so cute! There’s something really fun about striped straws (and stripes in general). I’ll totally take one of those lemonades, thank you!
I will take that Lemonade! This is a great idea and so easy.
Ohh Cheerwine! Definitely a Southern thing…love these images and the multicolored straws! Thanks for the super cute ideas.
