1. Banner
‘Here Comes the Bride’ is a sweet way for the flower girl to introduce your grand entrance! The banner is handmade by ReadyGo (photography by Sarah Kathleen) and is available in a variety of colors to complement your wedding palette. The banner is placed on velcro for maximum hold and is easily attached to wooden dowels (included).
2. Pinwheel
A retro party icon becomes a fun flower girl favor! What’s even more fun than a traditional pinwheel? A HUGE pinwheel, of course! Pinwheel by Rule42.
3. Wedding Sign
A custom, wedding sign (like this fantastic one!) truly personalizes your wedding day and is easy for little hands to carry down the aisle.
4. Thematic Element
Instead of flowers, let your flower girl carry an item that ties into your theme. For instance, we spotted this beautiful wedding at The Loveliest Day where the couple tied in vintage + handmade wedding details, like this vintage honey bucket carried by the flower girl:
Isn’t it such a unique idea? We think it would tie into your honey themed wedding perfectly.
5. Love Note
Oh my. Does it get any sweetest than this? The bride jots down a sweet little note for her groom, delivered by hand down the aisle by the flower girl. The groom will melt and he’ll cherish it forever. What a sweet take on It doesn’t get any sweeter than this! Write a love note to be carried down the aisle to your groom by your flower girl… he’ll cherish it forever.
6. A Balloon
What little girl could turn down a balloon? Let her carry a balloon (or a bunch) down the aisle. After the wedding, you can have her set them sailing into the sky.
7. Flower Wand
A paper flower wand will last and never wilt; your flower girl will feel like a princess down the aisle and can keep it forever!
8. Single Stemmed Flowers
Instead of petals tossed down the aisle, have your flower girl carry a small basket of single stemmed flowers (gerber daisies, daisies, sunflowers, peonies, etc.) and hand them to a few guests at the ends of aisles. Or, she can bring the flowers to the front and hand them to your parents or grandparents.
9. Ribbon Wand
These ribbon wands – handmade by Pebblescatto – can be customized in your wedding colors and they’re fun for your girls, too.
10. Heart on a Stick
Looking for simple + sweet? These handmade hearts on a stick fit the bill! By Fairyfolk Weddings.
You may also love this fun idea from a past post: the bubble jar! How could she resist such a fun way to walk down the aisle?

I loved ideas 7, 8, and 10. The kids were so precious! The hearts on the stick also don’t look so hard to make.
