Emma here and I am so excited to share this handwriting necklace with you today.
Last week, my custom handwritten necklace from the lovely Brittany Leigh Jewelry arrived and it is beautiful!
So let’s backtrack for a moment. A few weeks ago, I ran over to Andrew and said, “Quick! Write ‘love’ on a piece of paper.” Sure, I could have taken it from an old letter or card, but I wanted something from TODAY, at this very moment in time. So, he wrote it, and then I explained it was for a necklace. And in his true wonderful self, he rewrote it a few times to make sure it was perfect.
I mean, he knew I’d probably end up wearing this necklace every day, so he wanted his handwriting to look its best. And it did! Here’s what his copy looked like:
I snapped a photo and emailed it over to Brittany, who got to work. She did a fantastic job on it! I especially like how she did not trim the extra-long line on the “e” — as it is his signature handwriting style. Here is the finished product:
Amazing, right?
I adore this piece and I can imagine you’d like one, too. I think this makes one of the most unique gifts from your groom, the morning of the wedding or as a bridesmaid gift with a handwritten note by you!
Here are some additional handwriting necklaces we found for inspiration.
Handwriting Necklace Ideas for Gift-Giving
Dig up an old card or handwritten note from your love and turn it into a custom piece of jewelry, like this “I Love You” necklace:
Or, if you have a loved one who has passed, you can remember them on your wedding day by turning an old signature from a birthday card or letter into a keepsake jewelry piece.
This pearl bracelet is one of my favorite pieces: it is made of white pearls and is designed from the groom’s handwriting.
If handwriting isn’t your thing, you should check out her custom wedding date necklace. She uses beads or stones to indicate your wedding date on a unique pendant.
You can see more handwriting necklace styles and other keepsake jewelry finds in Brittany’s shop.
Happy Planning!

Disclosure: I received a necklace in exchange for this honest review. And honestly? I love it! If I didn’t, I’d tell you otherwise — hand to heart.
