We are sharing David & Kristen’s beautiful winery engagement session in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with photography by Shutterfreek. Their photographer Paul tells us, “David and Kristen were friends first. They were best friends all through high school and college. After college, Kristin moved to DC to become a nurse. David left for pilot training and the start of his Air Force career. After 3 years of just phone calls and emails she insisted he come visit her. It was on that trip that their friendship turned into something more.”

“One year into dating they met in Albuquerque for a long weekend. They visited Casa Rodena Winery where they sat and talked about their future together over a glass of wine. It was on top of Sandia Peak that she was in his arms and never felt safer. It was after a day in Santa Fe at the Eldorado Hotel (where they are getting married in April) that she knew they were meant to be. That weekend was such a milestone in their relationship that we tried our best to incorporate it into our wedding as much as possible.”
