How to Throw a Spa Bachelorette Party is on the list today! Find out what you need to make your celebration a relaxing dream come true. Subscribe for the latest!
Hello, lovelies! We’re kicking off the mid-week with spa bachelorette party inspiration. The ultimate bachelorette party doesn’t have to include bar hopping, clubbing, or hitting up the town. Some of the best bachelorette parties are low-key, partying at home with the bride-to-be and relaxing while you watch favorite movies + tv shows (I’m bingeing this right now), dish over delish drinks and appetizers, and pamper yourself with some at-home spa treatments. Here are thirteen fun ideas on how to throw a spa bachelorette party at home! Enjoy!
Spa Bachelorette Party
A spa bachelorette party is themed around pampering and relaxing. The idea is to incorporate a few at-home spa treatments (such as a face mask, foot scrub, manicure, pedicure, etc.) and/or skincare products. You can also choose to do nail applications, like these, which are easy and less messy than polish (and last significantly longer, too). Rent some movies, put on some music, order pizza, make popcorn, serve up delicious drinks and desserts, and just kick back and enjoy some laughs with your best friends. If your budget allows, hire a makeup artist to come in for a tutorial to teach everyone some fun new makeup trends or tricks. Alternatively, you can also hire a manicurist to come and pamper everyone with manicures and pedicures (or do your own and follow these easy tips!)

If you’re planning the bachelorette party at a hotel suite, many times there is a spa inside the resort (or nearby, if you’re in a downtown area). That could be a fun girls’ trip: the spa, then back to the hotel to have food and drinks.
As with any party, it all begins with a guest list.
1. Make a guest list.
How many people are on your list? A bachelorette spa party might work best with a smaller group. Consider bridesmaids, moms, maid of honor, and a few additional guests.
2. Pick a location.
A house party or hotel suite work extremely well. You’ll want a bathroom and sink access for spa treatments, along with enough room for everyone to relax, hang out, watch tv/movies, eat/drink, and socialize.
3. Select a date.
Plan the party a week or two before the big day.
4. Send out cute invitations.

5. Plan to surprise guests at the door with these.

You’ll also want to give out these (um, adorable!) bow headbands for your guests to use on various face masks (we’ll talk about ’em in a minute!) to hold their hair back. They can take ’em home as favors. By PoppingWithLove.
6. Have these fun photo props at the ready.
These are so fun! Snap some photos with your camera for lasting memories, or use one of these instant cameras to print them immediately and have guests take ’em home. By PrintableStudio505.
7. Get one of these pinatas.
This fun pinata is shaped like giant nail polish! Cuuuuute!
What to fill it with? That’s easy: lip balms, mini bottle of liquor (if you wish), and candy — with emphasis on Ring Pops and candy necklaces! (P.S. Do you remember candy lipstick? I used to love those!)

Want smaller pinatas, one for each guest? Fun idea: get these sweet hot pink or red lip pinatas from LulaFlora.
8. Incorporate your theme into party treats.
These are genius: jumbo marshmallows with a bit of food coloring and tootsie rolls that look like little nail polish bottles! Spotted here.

9. Offer colorful polish favors for mani-pedis.
OK — so you need activities to do at your spa bachelorette party. This will include stations set up to do nails — either manis or pedis — and another station for face masks. This isn’t as tough as it sounds, you just need a few seats (even sitting on the floor with a coffee table in front works great!) and the following supplies for guests to do their own manicures.
– Nail polish remover and cotton rounds, or a few remover tubs
– Nail clippers
– Nail files (set of 10)
– Alcohol (um, this time it’s not the kind for drinking, ha! You need rubbing alcohol to disinfect anything like clippers or cuticle trimmers in-between uses.)
– Plenty of nail polish (I love anything by Essie or Sally Hansen; both work like a charm and makes your nails at-home look like spa quality. For the super trick? Add on this top coat, it is my go-to always.)
Get a few bottles of polish and you’ll be set!
If you want to make things super easy, try these nail wrap kits by SoGloss. They’re like stickers, applied to your nails, and they last longer than polish. The designs are amazing, too. Here are three of my faves (you can see more here). All you need to apply them is: clean nails (remover, if needed), a nail dryer, and a nail file. The directions are included on the back of each kit.
10. Give your bridesmaids their ‘getting ready robes’ early.

11. Set up fun “spa” stations at the party!
Similar to the nail polish “station”, set up face mask or spa product “stations” for guests to try out. You can use your favorite face masks. Here are a few suggestions!

Want to apply individual face masks? These are so much fun by Facetory!

You’ll also want these makeup remover towelettes to remove any leftover mask / cleansers from faces. :) I like how they’re individually wrapped, so you can put a bunch in a basket for guests to use. These are also helpful to have before you do any facials to remove makeup first.
12. Have guests ‘leave a mark’ with this cute guest book alternative.
