Hi, loves! Emma here. Today’s handmade-a-day find is a heart shaped ring dish with the word “LOVE”, “XO” or arrows beautifully hand-drawn with gold metallic calligraphy. A ring dish, like this one, is commonly used on your sink to hold your engagement and/or wedding ring while washing your hands, or on your nightstand at night when you go to bed (if you’re someone who does not like to wear jewelry to bed). I wear my rings pretty much all the time, but when I do heavy housecleaning I like to remove them so they don’t get dirty. A ring dish like this would be the perfect place to put them. These are functional, beautifully handmade, and colorful — Susan Gordon Pottery really has thought of everything! This makes a great gift for a newly engaged bride or for a bridesmaid gift. It makes a sweet gift for moms, too.
Heart Shaped Ring Dish
I also saw a heart shaped ring dish with polka dots… and X’s and O’s…
Here are some additional designs I think you’d enjoy. One of the pictures shows the slight curve in the heart as a visual. I wanted to also note these are recommended to be hand-washed, as you wouldn’t want the gold to scratch over time in the dishwasher.
And while you’re here, I just have to show you these monogrammed ring dishes, too. This particular ring dish design is not heart shaped, but I think they look cute, too. You could always pick one of these dishes with your new last initial on it to use as a ring pillow alternative. After the wedding, it will function as a ring dish. You know I love multi-purpose wedding finds. :)
