This wedding was so special to us. Meet our friends Holly and Mike! They were married this past November at the Buhl Estate Wedding in Addison Oaks Park. We worked with the both of them to plan their wedding and are extremely excited to share it with you. You might remember their story from their featured engagement session. Holly + Mike’s Buhl Estate Wedding
Colors and Theme – Holly is a huge fan of hot pink. She loves it! So it was an easy choice to go along with navy for their wedding colors. You’ll see these colors in the stellar tie Mike and the groomsmen wore. Holly’s flowers and the boutonnieres carried shades of hot pink. There were faux pink flower petals, along with matching hot pink and navy table runners that adorned the tables. Their pretty chic theme had LED tree centerpieces wrapped in burlap and tied with a pink ribbon. They mirrors underneath the centerpieces reflected light from candles in mercury glass votives. They had a rustic white gift card box, a light up monogram, chalkboard signs, and more.
Their ceremony took place in the main reception hall that’s decorated with Christmas trees, wreaths and lighting. It was the perfect ambiance in a room that’s covered with large windows looking out over Buhl Lake.
After their ceremony, guests grabbed a drink and took their seats. The bridal party entered the room to only the best music provided by Aaron from A-Team Productions. Then, Holly and Mike did their official first dance as husband and wife. It was a joyous moment. They cut the cake and dinner started. The food was fantastic! The rest of the night thundered on with music, dancing, and well wishes to a wonderful couple starting their journey as husband and wife.
