Pamper yourself: today we’re showing you how to make a spa gift basket for yourself or a friend with these beautiful finds. But first, subscribe now for the latest!
Hi, loves! Emma here. I love at-home spa products and taking time out of my busy schedule to do a face mask, pedicure, manicure, deep exfoliation for my face, or a teeth whitening treatment. It can be so relaxing to take time out, pamper yourself, and feel rejuvenated!
So… we thought it would be fun to make a DIY spa basket today and show you the supplies needed to make your own DIY spa gift basket: here’s our list of must-haves!
How to Make a DIY Spa Gift Basket
First, let’s talk theme: every gift basket has a theme, so for this one, we’re going with a spa basket with a bathtime theme. Some spa baskets can be manicure theme, or other could be skin care; for this one, we’re planning a perfect bath and relaxing evening in-a-basket.
Spa Basket, $10 or less
First, you’ll need a basket or bucket to put all your gifties inside. I personally like these fabric baskets, since after you’ve used up all the products they make really nice storage bins for your toiletries. Shop around and find one you like.
These woven baskets are also very nice and I have one myself. It holds a lot of makeup and I keep nail polishes in it.
You don’t need to spend a lot on the basket, but pick something that can be used again and has a nice presentation to it.
Here’s what to put inside the basket.
1. Silicone body scrubber or loofah, $5-10
Add a traditional body loofah to your DIY spa gift. Everyone could use a new loofah from time to time, and it’s always a nice addition to the basket. This one is by MainBasics and available here.
Or, try something new, like this silicone body scrubber we spotted from Avilana. I’ve never seen anything like this but people are giving it rave reviews; supposedly it is more hygienic than a loofah since it’s easier to clean and as a bonus, it lasts a long time. I have a really cool one for my face, it is slightly smaller and I love it. It exfoliates so well!
This body scrubber offers rave reviews, with some people saying they’ll never use a loofah again. I like the way this looks and it is easy to clean; give it a try if you’d like.
