Are you looking for those popular wooden wedding aisle signs featuring the beloved 1 Corinthians 13 verse? We’ll show you them right here! Be sure to subscribe now for the latest to your inbox.
Love is patient, love is kind. Love never fails.
Is there a more memorable verse to read as you walk down the aisle?
These hand-lettered wedding aisle signs by OAKY Designs will become one of your favorite wedding day details.
Imagine… you’re walking down the aisle, these signs at your sides… gazing at your soon-to-be spouse on the other side. It’s a beautiful thing, isn’t it?
In addition to how amazing these signs look, they’ll also complete two tasks you can cross off of your list:
• An easy + beautiful way to decorate your aisles, and
• Amazing photo props for your wedding pictures
While flowers are lovely, they wilt (and cost an arm-and-a-leg, especially when you’re adding arrangements to every row down the aisle). Instead, use these wooden signs and you’ll never have to worry about humidity, heat, or having enough water to keep your flowers looking their best.
But signs?! So much easier! :)
And just a little bit of greenery will turn your ceremony space into a dream! We’ll tell you how in this post! Let’s get started.
Wedding Aisle Signs
First, check out these aisle signs we’re obsessing over right now… they’re incredible!
Love that hexagonal wedding arch? Here’s a style we found that is hexagonal (and right now on sale!) By FloneDesigns.
Ceremony Aisle Signs: Questions
Here are a few commonly asked questions we’ve had from brides about similar products.
How early should I order my wedding aisle signs?
The sooner the better, as these are handmade. With all handmade wedding products, you’ll want to ensure adequate time for the artist to create and ship your signs.
You can order these here.
What if my aisle is longer than this example?
If you have a very long aisle — lucky you, long aisle walks are the best, especially if you avoid these mistakes! — you can place the signs at every other row, or even more spaced (every two, for example) and fill in the “blank” spaces with greenery, lanterns, or vases of flower arrangements.
Here’s a lantern that would fit in nicely with this style (from Stonebriar):
I’m also loving this thick glass lantern with a rope handle (from DiamondStar). You can place it on the ground or hang from shepherd’s hooks.
I honestly want both of those just for my patio! They’re so charming and great for daytime or night weddings.
To steal this look, all you need are the wedding aisle signs from here and then decorate the floor/ground with yards of (faux, if you’d like!) eucalyptus or greenery garland.
Aisle Signs + Greenery: Get Inspired With This Look
When shopping for greenery, here are a few things to consider.
–Length
When you visit your ceremony venue, measure the length of the aisle way, then make sure you buy enough for both sides to be even. A pretty standard length of garland is 6-8 feet; buy as many strands as you need, then trim to fit your space.
–Price
If you buy real greenery, there are gorgeous greenery in bulk options to choose from, like ivy, magnolia, eucalyptus, sword ferns, and more. Shop for real greenery here and save big (they offer huge discounts and bulk orders!)
Here’s just an example of what they offer at Blooms By The Box:
Lovely! I’m especially loving that seeded eucalyptus greenery this season!
For faux greenery, be sure to choose something that looks real. Buying online? Reviews will be your best bet!
This eucalyptus garland is a great option: it is faux but offers a realistic look. It is available with or without roses, as shown below. By Which Goose. I like this option, too, because after the wedding you’ll have re-usable greenery for your mantle… and who doesn’t love re-usable decor?!
Here is 5 feet of eucalyptus garland without the flowers (from the same shop here):
Need to save money? Here are a few affordable options best for buying in bulk.
And there you have it: an easy way to decorate your wedding ceremony, complete with wedding aisle signs and greenery! :)
