Just so we’re all on the same page, these are handmade face masks, similar to those you might buy at a big box chain (but way cuter because, obviously, handmade is awesome). When the global pandemic first hit, and people started buying masks and face coverings, my first instinct was to do what I always do with trends: head to Etsy to see what my fave artists are whippin’ up in their shop. The thing about handmade sellers on Etsy is this: they have a whole lot of heart. And they are able to turn something as scary as a face mask into a piece of art you’ll actually not mind wearing so much after all.

I waited quite a bit to see what kinds of wedding masks Etsy shops would create, just to see what the wedding rules and mandates in place would be. Now that we have a clear definition of what is required during Covid weddings — face masks, social distancing, possibly smaller sizes, outdoors if possible, and hand sanitizer bottles like these everywhere — we rounded up our favorite Etsy made wedding face masks.

I mean, this whole year has been nuts, and the fact that we’re talking about masks for weddings is already enough to drive someone crazy, but here we are. You can get your initials with a heart in the middle and choose the color thread you like best. Great as bridal party face masks, too.

What do I like about these masks? Three layers! Plus, there are many options available for the bride AND the groom. It seems like everyone forgot about the groom when designing masks, but not ShalizCollection! They offer plenty of groom customizations, like the color of the boutonniere or style of the tux face mask. Cute!
