Welcome to this handmade laid-back wedding! Karis and Josiah’s wedding was everything they wanted it to be: stress free and laid-back. They tell us, “We wanted less of a party and more of a family gathering… a gathering filled with family and friends that wanted to share in our joy on our day. I didn’t want to choose colors or a theme that was too trendy. We chose a neutral color theme of grey, browns, and creams. The overall theme we wanted was handmade, homey, vintage, and romantic.” Karis and Josiah’s wedding was one that you’re sure to enjoy with stylish photography by Kaity Whitman from Photo Love Photography! Handmade Laid-Back Wedding
Karis and Josiah were married at the beautiful wedding chapel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, called the Thorncrown Chapel. Before their reception, the bride, groom, and bridal party tooled around the Eureka Springs & North Arkansas Railway station while Photo Love Photography captured them in detail. Their reception followed at the enchanting Castle Rogue’s Manor.
Karis continues, “It’s hard to pick one specific thing that made the wedding ours; however, all the DIY details really made the entire wedding day feel like ‘Us’.”
“We customized our wedding with lots of DIY and handmade details, designing our wedding stationery myself, and wearing pieces of my mom’s dress.”
