What does a Christmas themed wedding look like? We’re showing you a beautiful one today! Noel and Jason’s wedding was very DIY detail oriented and included pine cones, pine tree gift favors, pine cone name cards, and more. Their colors were red and green (with touches of burlap) and a rustic overall feel made their wedding decor really pop. This wedding was photographed by the team of Emma + Josh and they did a beautiful job capturing the day from start to finish, along with all of the wonderful wedding decorations. Enjoy!
Christmas Themed Wedding
Noel tells us, “Wow, how to describe our wedding day. It seemed like such a blur. I remember waking up the morning of December 21st and thinking how incredibly normal I felt, like I was surprised to be the same old me. I guess I had always imagined that I would feel grown up and mature, that I would no longer have acne to worry about, and that I would somehow be different when I got married, however on this morning I was still goofy and young and exactly the same as I was the day before.”
“My bridesmaids and I all got ready together in the hotel room, and as we sat and sipped mimosas, everyone was surprisingly calm. I sat thinking about how excited I was to be married, and go on our honeymoon, and to move in to our first home, without actually putting much thought into the wedding itself. I had never been one of those girls who planned their wedding starting in their barbie doll days, and to be honest, I had regretted not eloping multiple times through the planning process. I just wanted to be married to Jason, I didn’t really mind how fancy or elaborate the marriage ceremony was.”
“Fast forward to the wedding ceremony, and walking down the steps to the aisle. Suddenly, I realized just how important this day was, and how perfect it was for that matter. The ceremony was surreal. From the tears in Jason’s eyes, to the vows we shared, to the sun beaming through the trees, I was truly amazed at how blessed we were. I have said this countless times since the wedding, but I wish I could go back to the ceremony and do it over again, exactly the same way, just to soak everything in.”
“To have the love of your life standing in front you telling you that you are the love of his life is the greatest gift you can ask for, and I still can’t believe I was blessed so young with such a perfect husband. Walking down the aisle as Mr. and Ms. Peressini for the first time was the proudest moment of my life.”
“Jason and I had a great time at the reception. We laughed, danced, and celebrated with our friends and family, and the night continued to fly by. Our loved ones that had set the tables and decorations up had done a beautiful job, and it was shocking to see that our amateur planning had actually come together to create such a perfect atmosphere. We talk about the wedding today, and we laugh at what a funny process the whole thing is.”
“You spend months planning for this very important day, and then suddenly in the blink of an eye, it comes and it goes, and you are on a honeymoon in Mexico drinking a Margarita and playing bingo by the pool. Multiple times on our honeymoon Jason and I would stop and admire our rings, thinking ‘Wow, we really are married‘. I think we even high-fived each other good job at one point. Marriage is truly a wonderful thing, and I feel like I will never get used to the simple things in life to which marriage brings joy.”
