Rustic Wedding Venue Decorations → VEN Decor Handmade
Meet Nadezhda, owner and designer of VEN Decor Handmade. She designs rustic wedding venue decorations with a specialty in paper flowers (wait til you see the peonies–swoon) and rustic wood elements. VEN Decor Handmade is the original creator of paper rose place cards, which are incredibly unique and available in a wide variety of colors to coordinate with your wedding palette.
Our top picks from her shop are the paper roses and peonies, paper vines, paper rose place cards, and wood-burned signage. But we really do adore it all. Take a look at the interview, below, and some hand-picked favorites for the season.
Interview with Nadezhda of VEN Decor Handmade
Hi Nadezhda! Thanks for chatting with us today. How did you start your business?
“I still remember how excited I was when I opened my Etsy shop in 2012. I wanted to be my own boss, to work what I love and to show my creativity! It was new a beginning! It was long way to go, hard work every day but filled with satisfaction. Customers send me great feedback for my work and that is what keep me move forward, to keep learning new things and challenging myself. ”
“Each paper flower petal is cut and sculpted by me, each order is packed and shipped by me- no assistants. I choose to work alone because this is how I know each order details, its status and feel that my customers are happy that communicate directly with the shop owner and maker.”
Tell us about the products you create.
“I designed non-traditional paper flowers for table decorations- crepe paper flower sitting in base made of wire and wrapped in natural twine- completely made by hand and unique.”
“The base gives the flower complete rustic look. These flowers are very versatile – they can be used as table centerpiece, place card holders, wedding take-away gifts and loved by customers.”
