Hi, lovelies, Emma here! It’s the day after Christmas and admittedly that always feels a bit strange. There’s this mix of melancholy because the big holiday is over and a mix of happiness because it was a wonderful memory. There’s a feeling of confusion (what day is it?!) since it fell mid-week this year. There’s also this sense of, hey winter, it’s been real but now that Christmas is over you can run along. Am I right? And with upper 40s/lower 50s degree weather around here this weekend, I think Santa Claus himself would hope for this weather in the North Pole so he could wash his sleigh outside and get it shined up for next year’s voyage.
But, as usual, I digress. We hope you had a wonderful, happy-filled week. And we hope you’re ready to get serious about planning your wedding starting next week because we’re kicking off the brand new year in style. It’s going to be an awesome 2015 and your wedding is going to be off the hook.
But for today… we’re sharing a beautiful jewelry piece that every bride-to-be will want to own from Junghwa by Amy Stewart. She’s a talented artisan who handcrafts beautiful pieces of jewelry: little works of art, really. I’ve admired her work from afar until this Christmas when, lo and behold, Andrew presented me with a gift. The box read Junghwa. It was a feather necklace. And I literally read the outside and said, OMGYOUGOTTHISFROMJUNGHWA?!!! And he was all happy because he knew it was the one I’ve wanted for so long.
It is a gold feather pendant on a long chain necklace and I’m pretty much never taking it off.
Yeah, he’s awesome. #HeGetsMe
Hand Stamped Tag Charm Necklace
Recently, I popped in to Amy’s shop and loved this tag charm necklace for a bride-to-be gift. It is hand stamped necklace and it features initials and the wedding date.
It can also say ‘LOVE’, too, with the O in a shape of a heart.
It comes in a few different finish colors. My favorite lately is gold, but these other shades look nice, too!
Isn’t it lovely? You can see this + more here. Enjoy!
We’ll see you bright + early on Monday morning. Be sure to bring your wedding planning notebook along because we’ll be getting down to some serious wedding planning business. We’ll help you plan from start to finish, so get ready.
xo
