Hi, lovelies! We’re sharing a wedding invitation tray today — make sure you’re on the list for exclusive features + giveaways, right to your inbox!
A month ago, a bride’s mom named Catherine wrote to us about how to preserve a wedding invitation and turn it into a keepsake.
I love the email for two reasons:
1) how sweet is it for a mom to preserve her daughter’s invitation — Moms rule, and
2) it reminds me of my own mother and how she preserved our wedding invitation onto a glass paperweight. I still admire it to this day!
Here’s what she wrote to us:
“Hi Emmaline Bride team, my daughter is getting married in the winter and I would like to give her a few presents. For one of them, I’d like to figure out how to preserve her wedding invitation onto some sort of keepsake. Do you have any suggestions on how to preserve the wedding invitation, or do you have any wedding invitation keepsake ideas? Thank you.”
Instead of making a keepsake yourself, there’s an easier way to do it: get an invitation keepsake tray made!
We’ve seen invitation keepsake ideas before — a few that come to mind are the wedding invitation keepsake candle, ornament (but it gets cut up!), stone, box, shadow box, and more. We did some digging and found a glass wedding invitation keepsake and now it is a favorite; it offers functionality, too.
Instead of collecting dust on a bookshelf or in a stowed-away box, this invitation tray will become her favorite place to toss keys, coins, jewelry, etc. near the entryway of her home.
And whenever she looks at it, she’ll think of you and her beautiful wedding day.
If she prefers, she can use it instead as a jewelry tray to hold her earrings, rings, a bracelet, or her watch (have you seen this new one yet, I’m obsessed!) on her nightstand or dresser.
This unique invitation keepsake is made from any design, any size, and is perfect for any occasion: use an invitation, save the date card, engagement party invitation, bridal shower invitation — anything you’d like! You can choose a special engagement photo if you prefer.
Here are a few examples of invitations printed onto special wedding invitation trays from CameoGlassPrints as an option. I hope it helps!
