Hi, loves! It’s time for our 2nd installment of our honeymoon planning tips (part 2/4). Last time we discussed how to plan a honeymoon, we gave you tips on what to do 8 months to 1 year before the wedding. Today we’re talking about what you need to plan a honeymoon 6 months to 3 months before the wedding. Read on to see what’s next on your to-do list…
Honeymoon Planning Tips
1. Cross off the first tips.
If you haven’t completed these yet, do it first.
2. Schedule your transportation.
Need to rent a car? Now is the time to take care of it. Don’t forget about transportation to and from the airport.
3. Renew (or get) your passport, visas, and any documentation.
The most important of the honeymoon planning tips? Getting your passport! Sometimes it can take longer than you’d like to get a passport. If you’re going out of the country, make sure you have the required documentation for your trip.
4. Get tickets for events.
If there are particular events or sights you’d like to see, register for them now (or at least add them to your schedule). You don’t need to plan too many activities, but having a few scheduled is a fun idea.
5. Figure out what you’ll be packing.
What do you need to bring with you? Do you need new luggage, a bikini, beach attire, comfy foldable flats, cute new sunglasses with polka dots (I totally just bought a pair because, polka dots, duh), chic sandals, a wide-brimmed sunhat, beach towel… you get the idea.
