Planning a wedding is easier when you know where to find ALL the things! That’s why bride-to-be, Laura, wants to know where to find the best wedding invitations. She writes,
“Hi Emma, any tips on where to get wedding invites? I have a decent budget but I don’t want to overspend, and I’m finding all kinds of websites out there for invitations but it’s hard to know which are good quality. Can you point me in the right direction of some websites with good wedding invitations? Thank you for your help!”
Hi Laura! Great question.
It can definitely feel overwhelming with dozens of invitation stores out there, and I’m happy to steer you in the right direction.
I know there are many awesome places to shop, but I’m limiting the list to the top 5 so you don’t get even more overwhelmed, ha!
In my experience as a wedding coordinator, author, wedding expert (over 15 years), and as a past bride myself, these are the top places for wedding invitations. I don’t take these recommendations lightly, so they’re 100% based on quality, personal experience (me!), and customer satisfaction. These are the websites I shop myself, purchase invitations on behalf of clients, and recommend to family members and friends.
Let’s get started!
1. Minted
Cost: $$ to $$$
Great For: Couples Who Love The Latest Trends + Customization
Minted offers wedding stationery for all styles and budgets – and it’s a customizer’s dream come true. Whether you want a completely ready-to-go design with minimal editing or wish to customize from start to finish, you’ll find invites to suit your needs here.
Since invitations set the tone and theme for your wedding, they make it easy to shop by season, theme, color palette, and even budget. You can upload photos into your design or opt for photo-free cards. They offer coordinating save the dates, programs, menus, escort cards, and more for a cohesive wedding stationery set.
Using their customizer, you can edit the wording of the invites, colors, shape of the card, thickness of the paper, and printing type to suit your needs.
► PRO TIP: The All-In-One Invitation cuts down on an outer envelope and makes RSVPing a breeze. The invite folds into itself to create an outer envelope, and the postcard-style RSVP requires less postage for guests to send. It’s brilliant. It looks like this:
In my opinion, Minted has the best quality invitations you can get. The quality of the paper is always really nice and thick in your hands, and it just stands out as a premium option – without costing a fortune. To top it off, all designs are made by independent artists (yay!) and you get free guest addressing on the envelopes included.
For questions, they offer FREE virtual wedding invitation consultants to help with styling. You can even receive a personalized design from a Minted designer for free.

Here are a few highly-recommended shops that stand out among the dozens of stores on their site.
• Serendipity Beyond Design: Ginger has a unique eye for detail and creates one-of-a-kind travel inspired invitation suites, as well as watercolor styles for any custom venue. I’ve been a fan of her artistry for years.

Cost: $
Great For: Couples Who Want Budget-Friendly Invitations
Known for its amazing budget-friendly selection, it seems there’s always a sale happening at wedding invitation website, Vistaprint. I ordered my stationery from their website for my own wedding,
and the quality was superb.

BONUS: Greenvelope – Digital Alternative
Cost: $
Great For: Couples Who Want a Digital Invitation Option
Finally, Greenvelope: a top option for digital invitations. I want to include one digital option here, as some couples are turning to eco-friendly or budget-conscious options to eliminate paper.
WEBSITE SCREENSHOT:
Digital invites are sent via email or smartphone device. Other digital invite stores, in my opinion, lack wedding-worthy designs and a user-friendly interface. But Greenvelope has beautiful styles that range from classic to modern, with plenty of options for customization. I also like the impressive animations that “open up” when guests receive the invite. It’s as close to a real invitation as possible, yet it’s digitally-based. They have online RSVP tracking and guest messaging to make planning easier for you.
They offer digital save the dates, wedding invitations, and special event invitations (yep – engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, etc.) It’s great for paper-conscious couples or people who simply want a chic alternative to traditional wedding invites.
