Today’s handmade-a-day find is by the always-inspiring The Polka Dotted Bee. Ashley created some really amazing personalized wedding handkerchiefs that we showed you before, but she’s just added a whole bunch of incredible designs to her shop. One of our favorites is definitely this bridesmaid handkerchief that reads: “there goes the mascara”. We love how it is made with soft 100% cotton (so it feels nice against your skin) and can be hand-washed (you know, for the mascara). As Ashley states in her shop, “This adorable hankie is a great gift to give to anyone who is prone to crying and/or shares a deep love for their mascara” and adds she is “guilty as charged“. I can agree with Ashley: I shed a tear (or twelve) at weddings and wear mascara on the regular, and I don’t always remember to wear waterproof. :) Anyways, take a look at this cute handkerchief and see why we love it so!

Although this handkerchief has a message of “there goes the mascara”, custom orders are welcome. You can have it say anything you want — or even your bridesmaid’s name or initials.
