Hi, loves! Emma here. If I could go back in time, I would definitely complete a Crate and Barrel wedding registry. I think my style (and Andrew’s style) has changed slightly over time; luckily, our style picks for home décor go hand-in-hand so choosing decorations and furnishings together is a pretty easy feat. I have always admired the iconic Crate and Barrel style, but lately I feel like they really get me, from the modern yet comfortable bedroom furniture to the classic kitchen must-haves that never go out of style. I could spend hours in the showroom, dreaming up ways to transform every space in my home. And spend hours on their website? Oh, you bet I do, with pajamas on and coffee in hand.
While it would take me hours and many dollars to transform every little nook and cranny, you have the unique opportunity to register for all of your most beloved gifts. These gifts will be your favorite finds from a cozy throw to wrap around your shoulders as you watch a movie together to a bedding set to lull you into a comfortable night’s sleep after a long day at work. You’ll find wall-to-wall style, from kitchen utensils that look beautiful as place settings to photo frames to showcase your favorite wedding photos on shelves throughout your home. You’ll spend hours cooking in the kitchen together with premium cookware, bake pies during the holidays with their signature baking tools, and enjoy dinners together with elegant dinnerware, atop some of the most delightful place mats I have ever seen.
Unlike other stores, the products at Crate and Barrel have this interesting way of staying on-trend forever; their classically-styled pieces tie into nearly any decor and complement every style. If your soon-to-be spouse isn’t as keen on the same decorating tastes as you, you’ll find it easy to mix-and-match to create a look you’ll both love to come home to.
I want you to see what Crate and Barrel offers for its wedding registry, so I’m sharing my top picks in today’s post. I hope you’ll be as inspired as I am with these finds and that you’ll create your own registry for your big day. Believe me, you’ll be happy you did!
Crate and Barrel Wedding Registry
Okay, so pretend I’m getting married in a few months, obviously to Andrew (because he’s awesome and we’ve already been married almost ten years, but it feels like one). I’m picking out things for our home, and I go to Crate and Barrel. Here’s exactly what my Crate and Barrel wedding registry would include. Since there are so many products to mention throughout the entire house, I’m focusing on two areas I’m particularly inspired to decorate at the moment: bed and bath.
For my bedroom, I am in serious need of a headboard; it is something I never got around to buying, since I haven’t been able to find one I really love. Our bed is set against a wall of windows, so it’s not really a necessity; however, this is my dream bedroom set for my Crate and Barrel wedding registry. Since a bed like this is a big-ticket item, guests can go in on this item together on a Crate and Barrel wedding registry.
I would pick an ivory headboard with upholstery. I’ve always been hesitant about upholstery headboards, since I have cats; but I’ve never seen such a beautiful style as this (Gia).
A king bed: a must! I can’t go back to a double, as we slept on as newlyweds. Once you stretch out, it’s hard to stretch back in. :)
The coordinating nightstand is ideal for placing a phone charging station, a vase of peony flowers, and a jewelry dish for your earrings, rings, etc. after a long day.
Speaking of, I would also add this Mr. and Mrs. ring dish to put said jewelry and accoutrements for safe-keeping.
I would select the coordinating Gia 7-drawer chest. Since there are so many drawers, you really could buy just one: the top drawers could be your socks, undershirts, etc. and then split down the sides with two drawers each for clothing.
Now, on to bedding! I love a pop of color and Andrew likes the color blue, so these Lindstrom blue duvet covers and pillows are a perfect style for me. I like a duvet, since you can fit it over any down comforter of your choice. And there’s really nothing better than snuggling under a super cozy down comforter all year long, is there?
I love a snuggly throw for the couch and/or reading in bed, so this ecru fringe throw would be at the top of my list.
To get the best sleep ever, I would choose washed organic cotton sheets. I hear they’re the most comfortable thing you can sleep on.
Everyone has laundry; why not have a beautiful place to throw it that keeps it out of the way? This Barros round seagrass hamper is my favorite in their collection.
Now that I think of it, I could really use two of these lamps for the nightstands to give the bedroom a symmetrical look. This is the Margerie Cased Glass Table Lamp.
Getting dressed in the morning will be a breeze with this floor mirror. Talk about a statement piece! This piece is the Dubois Floor Mirror.
No bedroom is complete without your favorite snapshots to really personalize your space. This wall gallery looks picture-perfect, thanks to the brushed gunmetal finish on these photo frames. Available in a set of nine.
Now that my bedroom is looking lovely, let’s move on to the bathroom. A bathroom should feel like your very own spa; luckily, these finds in my Crate and Barrel wedding registry will make it easy to relax after a long day.
To start, I need fluffy towels. Let’s go with Turkish cotton — they look absolutely luxurious. I’m not sure yet on color, but I really like the sky blue or grey.
I prefer a minimalist look, so a wall towel rack is preferable to me than folding in a drawer or linen closet. A wall towel rack provides a neat, organized, and clean look.
Why worry about germs in flu season when you can have a touch-free soap dispenser? Available here.
I like to have my makeup, face wash, and brushes close-at-hand in the morning. Baskets like these would be ideal for my dream Crate and Barrel bathroom.
Next, I need a shower curtain. This Pebble Matelassé spa shower curtain in blue is a pretty, yet serene, shade.
These glass canisters will keep everything organized, like his razors, shaving cream, cotton swabs, and my makeup sponges at an arm’s reach.
Getting ready in the morning is easier when you have a fluffy bath mat to stand on. I can never decide between grey and white, so this Crosley reversible bath mat is an obvious choice. White on one side, grey on the other!
I’ll need a set of white washcloths, making it easy to remove makeup before bed. These are ultra-absorbent.
And that just about does it! Wow, I’m really loving my Crate and Barrel wedding registry so far. What do you think?
