Real Wedding: Captured by Kate Legters Photography
Meet Staci and Nat. Their vivid, fun, brightly-colored wedding complete with neon lights, mismatched bridesmaids (done amazingly, btw) and decorative elements sets this wedding apart! As you relive the highlights below, you’ll quickly see why Kate is a sought-after photographer – and why you’ll want her behind the lens at your wedding.
Dayton, Ohio Wedding: Staci + Nat
From the invitation itself, guests could tell the upcoming celebration was going to be a fun one. Their wedding was held in sunny Dayton, Ohio, where Staci and Nat picked the perfect spot to exchange vows. Afterward, a decked-out reception awaited their guests, chock-full of brightly-colored decor, textural elements, personalized details, and a jam-packed dance floor.
It looks like an exciting celebration from start to finish.
The bride wore hot pink pumps for a pop of color, paired with her white off-the-shoulder sweetheart bridal gown and a veil.
A Mrs bridal gown hanger displayed her dress, waiting to be worn, while the bridal party got ready together and spent time relaxing in color-coordinating bridesmaid PJs while sipping champagne.
The groom, Nat, got ready behind the scenes with his groomsmen. He rocked a pair of suspenders with a bolo tie, a purple dress shirt, and dress pants with a pair of brown dress shoes.
The happy couple enjoyed a First Look, snapped some portraits, and enjoyed time with their wedding party pre-ceremony.
One of my favorite “mismatched” bridal party looks to date is this one: how incredible is this color palette?! Each attendant chose a perfect outfit, all while complementing the vibe of the wedding so well.
And the groomsmen rocked amazing suits, complete with bolo ties to complement the groom.
Once it was time to head to the ceremony, guests were greeted with an intimate indoor ceremony space, complete with lush florals, a gorgeous backdrop, an arch with fabric draping, and a mirror sign letting guests know it’s a unplugged ceremony: no phones, please!
After the ceremony, it was time for candid portraits in the garden followed by an epic reception celebration – wait until you see these details!
