I was speaking with a friend the other day and she filled me in on a few details for her wedding next year. She already has the entire day pictured in her mind, which includes, “peonies… an outdoor wedding underneath a tent with tons of lanterns… cocktail hour with long island iced teas and punch…” and, my personal favorite, “… lawn games for guests prior to the reception“. What fun! If you’re planning an outdoor wedding, lawn games are a welcome addition for your guests. Today we are going to highlight one of our favorite wedding lawn games: cornhole! Have you ever played? Cornhole is a game where you toss bean bags at a board on the opposite side aiming at the hole on the top portion of the board. You also get points if the bean bag lands on the board. It is more or less an updated version of horseshoes (and, in my opinion, a bit easier). Here are a few examples of wedding cornhole boards you can get for your reception.

Don’t forget colorful bean bags to go with your wedding cornhole boards! You can get them here.
Happy Planning!

How did you paint on the silhouettes to get a nice crisp line?
I have a Client of mine who we are doing this for next May at a Napa winery. We are very excited with its laid back feel. Small world that you happened to post this after we just decided on this idea 2 months ago. Great minds think alike ;)
