Wood Slice Table Numbers for Weddings
These wood slices are made from ash wood and measure approximately 4.5 inches in diameter; they’re a good size in width, measuring about 1.25″ thick. These numbers are engraved and then hand-painted in white or the color of your choice. Each piece is finished with non-toxic lacquer for a light sheen and protection, necessary for use as table numbers for weddings.
Here are three examples available to inspire you.
White Tree Slices
A wood tree slice is engraved, painted with bright white paint, and displayed alongside your centerpiece. What I love most: these stand upright on their own! No need to lean them up against the flower vase or use an additional table number holder. Also, the white paint on this example really pops!
Brown Wood Slices
Mr and Mrs Table Markers
Use these matching Mr and Mrs signs at your head table or sweetheart table to tie in the same rustic decor!

Wood Slice Table Numbers with Candle Holder
In addition to these table numbers, you can even add on this cool functionality: candlelight!
These unique wood slice table numbers combine the number and a decorative candle holder to add a romantic glow to your reception.
You should use these tealight candles, the perfect fit for receptions. We use them for the weddings we plan locally because they burn for a long time (no relighting mid-dinner, yay!), they’re affordable (100 candles for UNDER $10, score) and they burn clean without smoke. Plus, they are unscented — an essential for dining, as discussed here.
Here’s how it looks at night:
Cool idea, isn’t it?
Now that you’ve seen these wood slice table numbers, you probably want to add them to YOUR reception, right? :) Head over to the shop or the website to find out more! These are such a beautiful way to add functionality and rustic decor to your reception space.
