Moss Covered Heart

by Emma Arendoski

One of our favorite decor accents is moss, especially this time of year. We’ve shown you a moss flower girl basket, moss garland, and a collection of creative moss wedding ideas, just to name a few. Today, we’re sharing a new favorite moss-y find: a moss covered heart. Spotted over at The Educated Owl, this decor piece can be displayed at your ceremony entrance (and afterward in your home). As a continued part of our 5th Birthday Giveaway, we’ve teamed up with Katie at The Educated Owl to give one of these moss covered hearts to one lucky reader! Read on to get the details…

Moss Covered Heart

The moss covered heart measures 12 inches (w) by 10 inches (h). The burlap bow adds six inches in height. The heart is made of wood, covered in a preserved moss and sprayed to stay intact and preserve its color. Keep out of direct sunlight and heat to stay green (out in the sun for one day during your wedding, though, is fine).

Perfect to mark the long driveway leading to our venue! I’ve been searching for something fancy but understated to post outside so guests know they’ve made it! This is soo inline with our theme, LOVE IT.
