I attended a wedding last week where the groom wrote a message on the soles of the bride’s boots. It was short and sweet — “I can’t wait to marry you”. He used a white permanent marker (like this) and we’ve seen it done elsewhere (on heels or flats) with a black permanent marker like this (ultra fine point makes it easier to write).
We just love this idea! So, grooms: if you can steal the bride’s shoes or boots before the ceremony to write a special message, she’ll really love the gesture.
And if you can’t steal enough time to write something down, a decal is another great option. You can leave a surprise note on the bride’s shoes or boots with a decal, like this one by AnEdCreations.
Either way, the bride will love this!
