Getting Ready Shirts… with a Twist!

You’ve heard of getting ready shirts or tank tops for the big day, but have you heard of menswear getting ready shirts as an alternative? We love the idea; after all, who doesn’t love snuggling up in his favorite button down shirt?

To get the best getting ready shirts for your girls, keep two key elements in mind:

1. Buy a nice menswear shirt.

Comfy, a bit baggy, and long enough to wear as a night gown.

2. Monogram it!

Buy iron on monograms to add personalization to each bridesmaid’s shirt.

Our favorite part of this idea is its functionality. No messing up your hair and makeup when you change into your dress – just button down! No more stretching and pulling to get the shirt over your head, messing up your ‘do!

What fun, easy-to-DIY getting ready shirts. We love!

Happy Planning!

I found Stafford brand mens shirts at JCPenney for $8 online, monogramming cost about $35 for 5 shirts. Great deal and awesome style!!
