If you’re planning a garden wedding, remember to tie in the theme with decor in unexpected places. The example below shows you how to decorate chairs for a garden wedding in lieu of the traditional ‘Bride’ and ‘Groom’ signage. Roses, draped elegantly across the chair backs, tie in the color palette and garden theme perfectly. Plus, they smell amazing! These photographs were taken by Joy Marie Photography; Amy Kaneko provided the styling. Spotted via Pinterest (follow us!) via Style Me Pretty.

DIY Apothecary Bottles for Bridesmaids
Posted May 9, 2012 | ♥ 1 Comment
Happy Wednesday! We’re helping you cross ‘awesome bridesmaid gift’ off your wedding to do list with these oh-so-sweet, ultra-girly DIY apothecary bottles from Formal Fringe. The tutorial – which includes a free printable! – uses clear glass bottles (from Hobby Lobby, Michael’s, or other local craft store), transfer labels, and decorative drawer pulls – my latest obsession. I recently visited Hobby Lobby and discovered an entire aisle dedicated to drawer pulls and decorative knobs; I’m in love. In this tutorial, Taryn adds water and a splash of red food coloring to give the decorative bottles a pink effect. As an alternative, we think it would be fun to add your favorite pink bubble bath. Wrap up the bottle in a pretty ribbon, attach a luxurious loofah, and gift to bridesmaids as a spa-inspired gift. You could also add a few drops of essential oil as a chic tabletop fragrance diffuser. Read on to see more…

The Strongest Metal for the Strongest Marriage

If you want a wedding band built to last, go with titanium: it’s indestructible, just like your vows. For titanium wedding rings made just for you, go with Minter & Richter, a Boston-based team with a passion + penchant for handmade. Master craftsman, Scott Richter, hand crafts each ring from a single billet of pure Titanium, while the rest of the team – Minter, Lynn, Jordan, and Ruby (the guard dog who keeps a watchful eye on packages before FedEx picks them up) – ensure your ordering experience is perfect from start to finish. While other jewelers offer titanium produced in some factory, this team produces its titanium wedding rings in-house… which means each ring is created with two hands + your custom design in mind. Since a wedding ring is on your to-do list anyway, it only makes sense to buy one that is handmade and indestructible to last forever (just like your marriage). Read on to see which wedding rings caught our eye after the jump…
