Keri + Drew’s Shabby Chic Wedding

Keri + Drew’s shabby chic wedding is absolutely stunning. Their Iowa shabby chic wedding has so many beautiful details including mason jars, weathered furniture, and flowery greenery that pops. Keri and Drew went out incorporating the color green into their wedding details from the brides shoes and table centerpieces to their delicious green candy table. Using more than just the color green, one of the most unique and creative ideas Keri and Drew used in their shabby chic wedding was the use of plants as guest favors. Photographing their Iowa wedding was Emily from Emily Crall Photography. Emily fills us in on some of the couple’s wedding day fun.
Emily tells us, “Keri and Drew were married in the hot, muggy Iowa summer, but no amount of heat could overshadow their beautiful day. Every little attention to detail was carefully created and crafted by their family and friends, who spent days and weeks preparing the grounds for this wedding. The groom’s mother owns Sisters’ Garden & Bloom, where the reception was held, and so there was an endless supply of unique vintage furniture, candles, antiquities, apothecary goods, tableware and chandeliers. Since the groom himself is a landscaper, he created a sort of sandy beach area as well as a gurgling tiny waterfall and stream in the backyard area. Keri and Drew had guests write their well-wishes on stones and Drew will use those to incorporate into a landscaping design at their home.”
