Kitchen Bridal Shower: 10 Amazing Finds
1. Invitation
Begin planning with a perfect kitchen bridal shower invitation. This is one of our favorites and features a watercolor illustration with kitchen implements and a dish towel.
2. Recipe Cards
Place recipe cards inside the bridal shower invitations for guests to fill out and return. Have a recipe box or a recipe card book for the bride to hold all the cards turned in by her guests. (Need inspiration? Check out our ten favorite bridal shower recipe cards.)
3. Colander Kitchen Bridal Shower Centerpiece
At the shower, decorate with kicthen-inspired accents in unexpected ways. For instance, you can use a white colander as a makeshift centerpiece holder… just add a gorgeous floral arrangement! A guest at each table (perhaps whomever’s birthday is closest to the wedding date?) can take the centerpiece home.
4. Tea Towels in Grandmother’s Handwriting
This makes a great gift for the bride-to-be: turn a recipe card into a tea towel! For instance, if her grandmother’s apple pie recipe is her favorite, you can have the recipe (complete with the hand-writing as-is) transposed onto a tea towel. Isn’t that a sweet idea?
5. Teaspoon Favors
Send guests home with a delightful kitchen-inspired favor. For my own bridal shower, guests received these teaspoon favors. I still use mine daily (it’s perfect for measuring my morning coffee).
6. Personalized Rolling Pin
A personalized rolling pin makes a great gift for the bride or as a prize item for a game. Made in Poland, these personalized rolling pins can be customized with your name, which is then imprinted onto dough when baking. Neat idea!
7. Apron for Bride’s Chair
Make the bride’s chair stand out at a table by tying a apron to it. Or, if the bride AND the groom are present, use these!
8. Kitchen Mixer Centerpiece
Similarly to the colander idea above, a stand mixer makes a lovely makeshift centerpiece holder for a kitchen bridal shower. The mixer shown here is in Martha Stewart blue.
9. Cupcake Tower
This cupcake tower uses kitchen accoutrements throughout, like colanders at each level and wood spoons at the very top.
10. Engraved Wooden Spatula
These engraved spatulas also make great favors for a kitchen bridal shower.
Fun Find
We also found this awesome DIY project we couldn’t help but share! If you have a tablet, you know how helpful it is in the kitchen. You can make your own kitchen tablet holder thanks to this tutorial spotted at Mamie Jane’s.
