Hi, loves! Emma here. There are several wedding traditions some brides are opting out of, from veils to garters to traditional wedding dresses. But there’s one tradition that is a classic and will always be in style: the wedding handkerchief.
Do you need a bridal handkerchief?
A handkerchief is not only a classic addition to your wedding purse; it’s a functional gift you’ll actually use.
Many brides wrap their wedding handkerchief around the handle of their bouquet to add texture, color, or simply to have it close at hand when/if needed.
As the bride, chances are you’ll have tears of joy on your wedding day. And instead of reaching into a clutch to grab tissues, a delicate handkerchief is a much prettier choice for wiping those tears.
And even if you think you won’t shed a tear or two, it’s still great to have a wedding handkerchief on hand, just in case. And while we’re on the topic, don’t forget to wear this, just in case! :)
