Have you thought about what kind of table linens to use for your wedding yet? Your reception dinner tables, cake table, escort card table, cocktail tables, and any additional “decor” tables will require table linens. Most traditional wedding venues provide classic linen tablecloths with your package (in white is usually included; colors at an up-charge) along with napkins; however, if you’re DIYing your own reception (i.e. a barn wedding or backyard wedding) or if your venue does not provide them, you’ll need to source your own table linens. And if you need round tablecloths, they can be a hassle to find yourself.
We’ve talked about table runners (remember these velvet table runners and chiffon runners) in the past, but round tablecloths are the hardest to source at a great price — and with unique fabrics and textures. So, we’re here to help! We’ve rounded up eight beautiful round tablecloths in a variety of styles and colors to give you a little inspiration. We’ve found shiny satin, textured burlap, shimmering sequins, rosette table cloths, and traditional linens that are cheap and available in a ton of colors. Wait until you see the moss! 😍 Enjoy!
Round Tablecloths for Weddings
PRO TIP: Before you order round tablecloths, measure your tables and then measure again! If possible, order one tablecloth before ordering them all at once, just to make sure it is the perfect length and style you desire.
First, let’s start with the basics: white linen round tablecloths.

I use it wayyyy too much and it’s paid for itself.
Don’t forget this step!
If you’re buying your own round tablecloths, be sure to use a fabric steamer to remove any wrinkles. You’ll need to really get those wrinkles out before the wedding reception and hang them or roll them around a large tube or curtain rod so they don’t re-wrinkle again. There are few things worse in wedding photos than wrinkly table linens. For a wedding we planned last year, we sourced all the table linens ourselves and had to steam each one (multiple times) to ensure they looked perfect. I used this steamer and it worked perfectly!

It’s great for travel, so you’ll also want to pack it with your wedding day essentials in case your round tablecloths need wrinkle taming prior to the reception.
Hope it helps!

Happy Planning!
