5 Fall Wedding Favors to Savor

What do guests really want as a wedding favor? Something decadent, delicious, and oh yes, sinfully sweet. There’s plenty of summer sunshine left in the skies, but fall will be here before we know it. And, since the autumn air will be hitting you faster than you can unpack your favorite corduroys from the basement, now is as good a time as any to gather up some inspiration. If you’re looking for fall wedding favors (or party favors for an upcoming autumn celebration), you’ll love our round-up today. We’ve gathered up five of our favorite fall wedding favors worth savoring – don’t even bother counting the cals. And, you may find yourself making a few “trial runs” at home just to… you know… make sure it tastes right. ;) Cider and donuts is right up there on my top ten favorite foods list with a few of these new treats coming in at a close 2nd. So, get ready to enjoy these foodie favors with one caveat: you will definitely have a sweet tooth after this post. You’ve been forewarned!

First up we bring you these incredible donut hole wedding favors spotted at Hip Hooray blog. I’d like to give a great big hug to the person who decided to make miniature donuts – all the yummy taste with half the guilt.

Next up is a couple of sinfully sweet caramel apples via One Charming Party. Oh. my. word. These look amazing.

For #3, we bring you a caramel apple all wrapped up inside apple pie crust! Quite frankly, I think apple pie crust slathered over a gooey caramel apple sounds perfect. Why eat it any other way? By The Girl Who Ate Everything.

Fall favor number four is this pumpkin semifreddo spotted by Tartelette. (Wondering what is a semifreddo? I googled it for you since I, too, had no idea. According to Wikipedia semifreddo is Italian for “half cold” and is “a class of semi-frozen desserts, typically ice-cream cakes, semi-frozen custards, and certain fruit tarts.”) This one in particular is topped with streudel. YUM! And, ready to give to guests in a mason jar? Perfection.

And last but certainly not least is a mouth-watering pumpkin cream cheese muffin by Annie’s Eats. I am definitely putting this tasty treat on my baking to-do list for the fall.
