Hi, lovelies! We’ve covered something similar before, but with COVID requiring all guests to wear face masks, we thought this one was worth repeating — and answering a question we’ve been getting quite often.

If you’re giving out face masks as favors for your guests (crazy times indeed!) then you’re probably asking yourself, should I get disposable masks or spring for reusable/washable masks?

Great question. The answer is really, whichever you prefer!

Disposable face masks are great.

Reusable face masks are wonderful, too!

Guests won’t mind, either way, I totally promise. They’ll be happy you provided a mask!

We found three great options and it will really depend on how much you want to spend but most of all — which style you like the most.

To be honest, a disposable custom face mask is just as good as a reusable one, and guests probably already have a cute face mask they swear by!

And there is no guarantee guests will use their face mask favors again, so don’t put so much pressure on yourself. If you are providing washable masks, guests may use them again or they’ll resort to the tried-and-true mask they’ve already been sporting around town. :) And don’t take offense! People are already so into their face mask element it is unreal.

Which custom face mask favors for weddings or parties are right for you will depend on which style you’re looking for, whether you want to spend a certain amount, or simply what catches your eye.

Since masks are required at weddings right now, it is a great thing to have even far ahead of time. I don’t think the mask mandate is going away anytime soon and even if it is far into the future, guests will still appreciate the masks provided at your wedding as favors.

I know, there’s a lot that goes into picking the right masks, but rest assured, we’ve found the best face masks for wedding favors you can buy.

How to Make Custom Face Masks

Now, for how to make custom face masks: if you’re good at sewing, these are pretty easy to make… or so I’ve heard. Personally, though, sewing 100+ custom face masks for wedding guests sounds like a tall order.

And not one that I’d want to be tackling myself with a few weeks or months leading up to the wedding day.

That’s just me, so if you’re feeling like you wanna roll-up-your-sleeves-and-have-at-it, you go for it, girl. You can buy cheap filters made in the USA in bulk here, I know that much! The rest is up to you (and probably an easy-peasy Google search, lots of wine, and definitely a few Netflix marathon nights). I recommend Dead To Me, which I just wrapped up, or The Office is always my go-to. ;)

Probably the easiest non-custom face mask favors option? Get them from Target. For instance, if you’re not super concerned about personalized face masks as favors, you can buy fun bright colors instead and give them out to guests as-is. That totally works, too! These masks from Target are in a 2-pack with many designs to choose from for $4 (so, $2 each, not bad!) This is one of the best prices we’ve found so far on nicely-made, reusable face masks for favors.

So, that is ONE non personalized face mask favor option. Since you probably came here looking for something with a little dazzle, aka customization, here are the other options we found. :)

Face Masks, #1. Custom Face Mask

Next up: disposable + custom face masks. Now, these are a huge seller right now for one very good reason: they’re freaking adorable! Yes, I know, as far as masks are concerned they’re pretty cute. And they’re funny. By For Your Party.

Face Masks, #3. Reusable + Personalized Face Masks

Ahhh, these are adorable! Personalized face masks for wedding favors and they’re totally customized however you’d like them. These washable masks make great wedding favors! By TwoJaysCreative. The price is pretty reasonable, especially since these are reusable, washable, and custom face mask wedding favors to take home and use again.
